When I have time, I'll write something more interesting. But here's something very rough and unspecific;

According to statistics Finland is the least corrupted country in the world. We are not friendly or personable in general, but in the end quite honest and trustworthy. What a cliche, but I feel it has some truth to it when I visit other countries.

Finland is number two in the number of suicides in the world, damn japanese! Historically this might have something to do with the protestant work ethics, we take our duties seriously. This trend is about to chance due to globalisation, but older generations are very very committed to their work.

We are true champions when it comes to drinking alot at one instance. The total amount of alcohol consumed per citizen is not that high for we don't drink it with food like some europeans.

And the shocking one; there are no polar bears in Helsinki, or Finland for that matter.

Yeah, Gibraltar is still ''English'' and it pisses me off having to 'cross the border' to see friends several metres away and then its back to the stupid police uniforms and traffic lights we have here. You see I come from the town that neighbours Gibraltar.

Fabio :yuck:

Well, there are good ones and not so good ones, as in every country. I'm not all that excited of blonds for It's almost a rule, not exception here.

And yeah, there is obligatory military service here in Finland. It was an interesting experience. What other countries has the same system?

I don't think women are included in conscription anywhere in the world... But then again, English people like to do it their own way:p

Like I stated earlier, there are alot of blonds here. More interesting question would be; why all the mediterranean guys get so horny when they see a blond girl. Beats me!

:)

Yeah, I always love it when people get's the facts straight! By the way, this isn't my real name; I understand this nick might indicate I'm native english speaker, from Australia for example, but no. It's kind of strange where I took this nick...

It's also nice to hear we have former soccer greats among us, grande Hamed :)

It was actually Moorish, even the name indicates so. It was originally named Gibil Tarek, then the name changed under Spanish conquest.

About Finland, I think the weather has an effect on the high suicide rate :(

And Johnny, for the record, I never had the chance to play in France, and I don't have a good physique. I was trying to impress Helal one day :lol:

btw. are you by chance the same adriano on the swiss barca forum?

I did 1 year of community service in Austria. That was really great, specially since the Austrian army is a real joke and I did something useful.
