A strong director with vision is needed for corporate running club like Inter. Just see where juve was when their sporting director was alessio secco post calciopoli era. Marotta came and he only need 1 season to bring juve to top again. I hope sabatini will do the same for inter. Welcome Walter.

Ausilio can ask for a player like Berardi but if Sabatini thinks he isn't what we need he can say nope and that's it or yes and then Ausilio goes fetch

Making a handful of quality signings isn't the same as building a team. In fact being able to sign quality players doesn't cover all the responsibilities of a quality technical director. Is he capable of signing a few players that can give us top4? I think so. Is he capable of getting the most out of Suning's budget in terms of quality? Absolutely not. Is he capable at building a balanced squad? His precedent at Roma to me speaks otherwise. A move that could look good short term but backfire long term and these positions need long term solutions. Dissapointing because last summer a lot of good technical directors were on the move... Luis Campos, Antonio Cordon to name two.
Although as always it's impossible to make a concrete judgement about methodology based on some definition of the results so maybe my concerns are irrelevant. We also don't have enough information to judge the environment at Inter so it's impossible to be certain about what solutions are needed to give us the results we're looking for.

Pedulla reports this: Sabatini could bring in his friend Frederic Massara^ who is Roma's current sporting director,or was as now with Monchi coming in,well he replaced Sabatini in 2016 but now Monchi wants Totti besides him and so a move to the Suning sports... whatever, sponsored by his friend Sabatini is an option ...as his close collaborator

FIF Special OnesRoma fans seem to think he dislikes Italian players and prefers gambling on foreigners and hoping they develop into something (time at Palermo kinda confirms that). Just relaying what I read on a Roma forum. They think he's an upgrade over what we have but they're still over the moon with Monchi obviously.

A story i heard about him - When he was in Roma he watched corinthians fc game, and saw a 17 years old player comes in. this boy tried to get a lost ball at all power, and when the ball got out, he got angry for not saving it on the field. Sabatini saw that and impressed by the player. the name of the boy was Marquinhos.
I dont know if its true, i heard it from Roma fan, and i know they very appreciate Sabatini.
