Icardi: 'I told Inter I want to stay'
By Football Italia staff

Mauro Icardi released a statement insisting he has “already told the club I intend to remain at Inter, because this is my family. Time will tell who told the truth.”

The striker was again in the headlines this morning, with La Gazzetta dello Sport claiming he had already agreed personal terms with Juventus.

“Seeing as recently the newspapers have reported stories that do not reflect my thoughts or my intentions, I want to inform our fans that I have already told the club several times that I intend to remain at Inter,” wrote Icardi on Instagram.

“So, from now on, there can be no misunderstandings of any kind. I understand the media has interest in selling fake stories, but I can do no more than clarify this personally.

“I repeat: I have already told Inter my desire to remain, because Inter is my family. Time will tell who told the truth. Forza Inter, always.”

When your plan backfires and you can't score for shit.

Drop Wanda and agree to 6.5M contract. Those are the conditions, otherwise he can fuck off.

I'm genuinely curious to see how Marotta will handle this.

It's time to prove that his massive CEO wages are deserved.

Marotta is pretty much the one who have created this situation.

Even if Icardi was never captain material it was stupid to do it middle of the season and downgrade Icardi's value when you could have sold him for the highest price.

Marotta is a boss, and I'm sure the reason he removed icardi as captain based on a chain of events. Probably lost the respect of his teammates, that's why.

The toxicity levels are too high this time around, I feel. His expressed love and desire for inter has not manifested into good performances or effort since returning, despite what he communicates through social media. I get the impression that he's aware of it, and is now just doing what he can to come out of this as a player who was sold against his will.

Spalletti was the one to remove the captaincy. Marotta just gave the okay, as in the coach is free to make these decision.

Team dynamics is always the manager's domain. The CEO isn't going to tell the manager who is going to train, who is starting ans who is going to be frozen from the team unless there are special circumstances which we have zero indication of. By special circumstances I mean things that get contracts annulled etc.

Lol when Icardi scored sky's commentators said: "un goal inutile", "a useless goal".

Which sadly was true.

Well, wanda posted a short Instagram story of herself watching the match and saying, in Spanish: "inutile la reconcha de tu hermana", "useless [is] your whore sister".

:yao:

See here (scroll to the bottom of the page, there is the video). She really is trash.

Agree but we don't know what really happened and Spalletti claimed in press conference it was not him who made that decision.

Neither of Spalletti or Marotta gave Icardi the armbrand. It was Mancio and Ausilio who believed captaincy will mature Icardi and make him more committed. Also during those years Icardi was easily our best player. The only one who really delivered in almost every game. Handanovic was ok but he didn't seem too interested about Inter and made horrible blunders every now and then.

Giving the captaincy was perhaps not the biggest mistake of Mancini-Ausilio. Letting the situation grow into what it was during this season, was the biggest mistake. He matured yes, but the environment let him grow to a super-super star with some kind of power (at least in his head) within the squad and then all the Wanda crap around him. Now Icardi is just a regular player and oh boy how useless he seems to be without the cojones he had when he was a captain. This is a mental game too and stripping the captaincy was a big blow for this guy.

Anyway, Spalletti is to blame for not acting earlier (maybe last summer) but it's also about the club structures and hierarchies. If coach is also a manager and he has a lot of power, he needs to use that power. Spallo doesn't seem to be that guy or he has used his power in a wrong way. Spalletti definitely won't get away with this and rightfully so he's getting the boot.

Should Mauro Icardi leave Inter, his first and only choice is Juventus: He and Wanda have an argreement with Paratici for a five-year, €8m plus bonuses deal. Juve tried an exchange involving Douglas Costa, Suning wants only cash. [@NicoSchira]

Nico Shira is one of the most reliable sources in Italy, he is not classical BS who need sensationalism, like for example Momblano and so on...

Wanda: Icardi doesn't want Juve

Wanda Nara has denied speculation that Inter striker Mauro Icardi wants to join Juventus. “That’s not what he thinks.”

Gazzetta dello Sport only reported last week that Icardi had agreed personal terms with Juve, but Wanda has since issued a rebuttal of her own, following in her husband’s footsteps.

“Icardi never said he wanted Juve, that’s not what he thinks,” she told Tiki Taka.

“No-one’s heard Mauro talk since he had the captaincy taken away from him.”

Wanda then commented on Inter’s chances of a top-four finish in Serie A after their 4-1 defeat to Napoli.

“I was sure it would’ve been decided by now. We’re used to suffering, but we’ll qualify for the Champions League. We deserve it.”

> Finally Marotta spoke to the Wandas to get their statements right. This might help in conserving his market value.

Icardi is a confidence player. When high on confidence, he is possibly one of the most lethal strikers on the planet. When low on confidence, he is pretty useless. While I was always against it (even at that time I wanted Handa), I can understand why Inter gave the captaincy to Icardi. And it will be naive not to acknowledge the fact that the captaincy had its desired impact on Icardi.

However, it was a low level mistake - we have far bigger issues. The lack of discipline which has been systematic at Inter is one such big issue, and has little to do with captaincy.

Fitting. Watching Inter put that bloke to sleep, only to be woken by the odd goal. We've all been there.

GdS: In the last month, the photo shoot of him and his wife irritated the club. This decision that certainly did not increase the admirers around the world of Icardi. But in recent weeks, it is especially fitting to recall statements of Wanda who has repeatedly confirmed the firm intension to stay of the former captain. With these words, Wanda actually pushes Inter to take responsibility publicly in case of a sale. And at that point, Icardi will be able to choose the destination himself.

Basically: you want to sell me? And you are the same one that took the captain’s armband away? Then I will pick my next stop. The desire to stay in Italy of the family is confirmed, linked to Wanda’s work commitments. So Simeone’s Atletico Madrid are behind and PSG are third.

The suspicion is that no move is the result of chance. Wanda knows that Inter want to sell Icardi but Suning is known for their standoff ability. Just look at the case of Ramires, he was only freed yesterday after 8 months spent in the second team of Jiangsu due to the unsuccessful move to Benfica last summer. In addition, three months ago, Steven Zhang said these words: “Icardi will never go to Juventus.”

Certainly it will be very difficult that former allies in Marotta and Paratici to sit down at the same table. A simpler possibility is for Marotta to sit down with Agnelli himself to deal with this matter. Inter will not be found unprepared.

Inter will not be found unprepared.
Good good i totally trust that, it s not like we ve looked unprepared for every situation that came our way this season.
And i m not only talking about on the field where also we look clueless and unprepared.

But i m talking off the field what exactly were we prepared for and what did we handle well? Icardis renewal? The perisic icardi situation? Selling perisic? The radja case?
We botcherd every single one of this situations. But sure when it comes to selling icardi in summer our mgm will be prepared and wont get fucked over.

sadly adani is right. He did nothing for 90 minute like hes doing every game. Not the goal is useless, Icardi is useless.

Don't have one.

Maybe its other way around, it was probably marottas idea and spalleti gave the okay, its his modus operandi from jube, remember bonnuci and his punishment, he is just zero tolerance guy, and too much of a coincidence that only month, month and a half after he came we punish our star player and before that there wasn't even a hint of anything similar, despite the fact that wanda was pissing all over the club with those real, napoli, jube rumours.

About those special circumstances, i think the strictest we could have gone with the player as important for us as icardi is what we eventually did, take his captaincy. Icardi could have killed a small child at the center of san siro and we still wouldn't terminate his contract, so for me the punishment he got is as severe as it can get, for whatever he did.

Nope, it's "useless [is] your sister's cunt". Concha is Argentinian/Chilean for cunt.

Concha means pussy/cunt but the phrase “la concha de tu hermana” which translates to “your sisters pussy/cunt”
In Argentina is just a phrase and it doesn’t really mean how it comes out. Idk if that makes sense.

It’s basically an Argentinian way to say “fuck off” or just insult someone.m or even another bad way to say OMG idk it’s hard to explain.

But.... if she put the word “inutile” referring to someone else then it kinda does make the phrase “make sense” when referring to adanis sister pussy. Why am I explaining this right now lmfa... but yea.
