Best Overall PosterI am actually surprised there are no links with Daniel Caligiuri. He has been great as a wingback for Schalke, he's Italian, he's 30+ years old. He sounds perfect for Conte and Inter.

While watching Italy U21 - Spain U21 I saw this player #7 Carlos Soler and really liked him, thinking he will be big. Then saw his market value, so I guess it`s pretty obvious

we need someone who can take set-pieces, especially direct free kicks. current players are utterly disappointing at that. Ruben Neves would be perfect (I know his name been mentioned here several times)

Ziyech is available for 35m according to Dutch media. He Will be a bargain for this money and the current inflation of the market.
He would easily be the most technical gifted player of Inter, out problem with set pieces is resolved. I dont think he Will become a world class player at Inter. But he would easily be our best player for the coming 2 seasons in which Inter can make the next step. For 35m you don’t get a better playmaker then him with the crazy transfers fee nowadays.

The same position you would want James to play. In a 3-5-2 James would play as an ss i guess? I think Ziyech could do the same and offering more goals and more dynamic to the game. If you take his salary and transfer fee in consideration, Ziyech would be (for now) the better option.
Ziyech played on every attacking position except striker in the 4-3-3 system. So 1 of the 3 midfield positions would be best for me. We desperate need some creativity as with Barella, Brozovic and Ninja for example we still lack that.
Don’t get me wrong, if I could choose between James and Ziyech I would take James but in the situation Inter is now for me Ziyech is a better option.

I am expecting runners out wide and physical players in the middle and good ol' long ball. So I don't really have high expectations other than hoping that the people who are coming aren't turned to deadweight within 12-18 months.

My bad, I thought you were in favour to bring in James.
I just can’t or maybe won’t want to believe that we have Lazaro and Perisic on the wings with a centre midfield of Brozo, Barella and Ninja. Zero creativity going forward with 2 lone strikers who should create their own chances. We need a creative midfielder/attacker to even create chances. Or else we end up with the style you are afraid of.
