attacking players in Napoli mostly do well, so since we already know Lozano has quality, that he will do well

but he isn't a big upgrade, he's just an early replacement for Callejon

Isn’t his best position LW though?

I also just see this as a depth signing because I’m not sure he starts over either Insigne or Callejon on current form.

Mario loan to Moscow almost done with option to buy at €18m. I would have been happier with an obligation to buy for 9m. This turd is hard to flush down. So lets hope this works.

kovacic to Kondogbia to Joao Mario had to be some kind of weird money laundering because it is a laughably miserable use of money

fred and de paul to fio?? Damn, if they pull that off, they're definitely looking at competing hard for top 4.

Chris Smalling to AS Roma from Man United, here we go! Total agreement for a simple loan (€3M to Man Utd) without buy option. The player has accepted. #MUFC #Roma #transfers

Smalling to Roma is done deal, should be interesting to see how he does in Serie A.

Don't have one.

Here's a bold prediction: it won't go well, especially as a marquee signing in defense.

Chris Smalling, the third best MU defender... which is actually very far from a positive assessment.

As much as Roma are WTF lately, it's even more disturbing for MU... I mean, what the fuck is Ole smoking there. Letting go of valuable bench options. Yeah, they might not be world beaters with Alexis but they still can contribute if things go south with injuries.

Solskjaer gonna have himself included in the squad list or what? Don't they have EL and two internal cups? Or they are just gonna promote all the reserves to the first team?

If we don’t score at least 6 against Roma over the course of the season I’ll be disappointed.

He was 4th choice this season, not sure 4th choice but for sure not 3rd choice. Tuanzebe is 3rd choice CB and made squad for all 3 games. So at best he is 4th choice. For me he is easily better than Jones, Rojo and Bailly but we don't have offers for them. We already have 7 CBs and have to offload few.

On Sanchez, its a risk we have taken. Maybe he needed change of clubs. He was useless for us. He scored 3 league goals in 18 months and new signing Daniel James has scored 2 in 195 mins. We should have signed one more attacker but Sanchez was useless anyways. Might backfire big time but it was risk worth taking.

We have 7 CBs, so number wise we have too many for CB position. Shame no club is interested in signing Rojo and Jones.

Also there is a rumor that Darmian is close to signing for Italian club. Didn't mention club name.

They have a thing for outcast English players I guess. Ashley Cole back then. Now Smalling.

Every English player moving abroad (to Italy especially) is always weird. Joe Hart at Torino, then I remember Micah Richards at Fiorentina. Damn, that shit was so weird, so out of place. I even remember way back in 2002, there was this random English player named Jay Bothroyd or something playing for Perugia.

But they got Dalbert, which immediately ruins their chances at top 4.

Jokes aside, I think top 4 is out of the question for them. 6th or 7th maybe. Don't forget they're managed by Montella  And we have no idea how Ribery will turn out. Vlahovic is a highly rated prospect as is Dragowski but I reckon Dragowski will prove to be the type to mix in some complete bullshit with some insane performances. All in all, a very interesting squad though, no doubt.

That Ravel Morrison shitter was supposedly uber-talented but failed hard at Lazio. Honestly I thought Michael Bradley was pretty good in the handful of times I saw him for Roma but maybe those were the exception.

EDIT: Somehow forgot that Michael Bradley was American and not English :einstein: My bad.
