Spurs fans know he wants out for year and a half now. Last summer (summer 2018) he declined new contract, but since Levy wanted like 100 mils, he stayed at Spurs. Never whined, never refused to play or publicly ask for transfer. IMO, class move, and he seems like loyal, classy dude. He even performed pretty well considering he wanted out last season, i think he was on the top for created chances and one of the best assist-mens, along with dozen of goals. I wouldnt say he was bad lol, we would kill for a midfielder with those stats.
This season yeah, it's another story. He is simply not motivated, doesn't want to play for Spurs anymore. Its natural, after year and a half wanting out.

Politano was always on the way out with 3 serious options only (Roma, Napoli, Fiorentina + Sevilla who tried to get him on the cheap).
Giroud was Conte's choice, Llorente is Marotta's choice that Conte kind of accepts but does not prefer.
And Vecino was always outbound to allow us to get an additional midfielder, not to make space for Eriksen. The idea was to get Vidal and enhance our position by selling Vecino as well, but now with Eriksen accepting to come in January we've just hit a jackpot.
There's also the sale of Gabriel Barbosa in place which is perpahs what Marotta is waiting for to up the offer to 20m. If we don't get that 18-20m for Gabriel we will have to do something else. Unless of course Tottenham is willing to get Gabriel from us which is also in the cards

Levy might have to explain to supporters how he held firm and lost potential money by refusing a sale of a want-away over x amount of money. Marotta might have to explain how he failed to add x amount of money to reinforce the team with a top class player. Both need this deal done, but wont be surprised if it goes down to the wire. I like to think that we have a secret plan B that could totally fuck Levy, but no one available gives us what eriksen can. If eriksen likes inter, he'll like us in July as well.

It's Inter who is screwing up as Eriksen may not be considering nus for the summer with the increased interest for him.

I'm very suspicious of eriksens intentions if he only wants inter now. No team has come forward with an offer for about a month now. If Levy has eriksen on the bench playing in 20 minute cameos, people will surely have questions for him. He would be paying him full wages and have lost a potentially large amount of money.

10 years of FIFFcIN: Tottenham intermedary Frank Trimboli is in Milan and is waiting for the response from Levy. Inters offer is 15 + 3M. If the response is positive, Eriksen will take the next fly from London to Milano.
