Just like Skriniar huh?

Skriniar isn’t World Champion, he didn’t score 12 goals and won EL last year, he didn’t came from EPL where salaries are pumped to the maximum and where Giroud currently have almost 6 millions pounds, Skriniar was paid 5 times then we’re paying for Giroud etc etc.

There is million things our management can tell to his manager if he starts complain. I’m not saying Giroud deserves all that more but we need player, he can get that money easily in EPL and Conte wants him. We don’t have any leverage.

We will ask for 25, and after a month we accept 12m+3m formula. Haggling is not a economic thing, its a passion.

After you spend full month trying to convince levy that eriksen is worth 15 millions,
Now you want to sell vecino for 20 millions, like really

Ermm, what?

The comparison is between Skriniar and Lautaro getting their second deals at Inter.

And yes, we do have leverage. His contract expires this summer. We could tell him to fuck off. Go for someone else. It's not that hard to find a decent striker who is as good or better than Giroud and would be willing to come with under 2m.

The only one benefiting from this deal is Giroud himself. Inter has too many options, Giroud has no other top team after him. If we don't sign him, he'll either go to West Ham or back to France. And he's not going to earn more than 3m there.

According to Pedulla, Vecino is very close to leaving Inter.

I wonder what our short-term plans for the midfield are.

If Vecino leaves, we'd have Eriksen, Sensi, Brozovic, Barella, Gagliardini and Valero. Those first four names are class. Valero in particular has been a very competent backup this season, but IMO he and Gagliardini could be improved upon with players who offer other assets.

Basically, the midfield as a unit is a bit lightweight for me. I think the department definitely lacks a bit of physical presence or speed or athleticism, which is something Vecino was good for providing.

The Allan/Vecino rumors were great, and Allan would've helped tremendously in this regard. By the sounds of it though, Napoli have come to their senses, because that swap always sounded suspiciously too good to be true.

I'm curious to see whether we'll be finished with the Eriksen <> Vecino "swap" or whether we'll get a 7th midfielder. Budget and time permitting, we should definitely go for it I think.

No fucken Kessie though.

With those first 4 our worries should not be that big. I am pretty sure there will be an easy and a cheap way to replace Valero with some other experienced player and if we sell Gags there are midfielders that can be bought for the same price we sell him. Allan would be great, but I think we wont be spending more than 15M on a guy we need for the bench.

Thankfully Kessie was only linked with Inter in a possible swap deal with Vecino so a Vecino sale to Everton basically excludes that. Massara also said Kessie is definitely staying at Milan so i believe we dodged that bullet. I am dreading we will go for De Paul. I realise it's not a popular opinion on the forum but i really don't want him at Inter for reasons i have explained in the past. Especially at the rumoured price.

i refuse to believe Vecino has more psychical conditions than Barella, just because of the height. We already have the sub for vecino in barella.

Sensi is going to be 30 in 6 years so we should sell him now.

Vecino would not have helped us today - we're all disappointed with the draw but I feel like we're really reaching here. How many games has Vecino had where he totally shit the bed vs. the likes of these teams at home. He typically only does something in big games like scoring a goal or assist, with general disappointing play overall.

Levy 1-0 Beppe

Would prefer to get rid of Gagliardonkey instead.

But he`s italian and we`re bulind an italian core :troll: +Vecino ears too much to sit on the bench, while entering his prime years as midfielder. Sell him until Friday.

Everton make Vecino offer

Everton and Inter are locked in talks to sign midfielder Matias Vecino, according to an Italian report.

Tuttomercatoweb speculates that the Uruguayan has been told by coach Antonio Conte that there is no longer space for him at San Siro with the arrival of Christian Eriksen from Tottenham.

The Premier League said are believed to have tabled an offer of €14m, however Inter are said to have requested €25m.

Despite the difference, it’s thought that a deal could be done for €20m.

Vecino joined the Nerazzurri from Fiorentina in the summer of 2017, and has made 88 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.

Dario, please stop overreacting and saying #InterBalls everywhere. It’s a normal thing to do. Even 20m is nothing to Everton for a player like Vecino, those English clubs spend money blindly.

Vecino`s value is around €23m and I would probably accept even €20m. My post was aimed at those FIF members which would immediately accept €14-15m just to see him GONE FOREVER :D

How am I overreacting? I`m happy we finally have competenet management at the helm and we`re not getting fooled by all sorts of low-life clubs.
