This isnt just an Inter thing. I've noticed alot of teams are having a hard time moving 30 + year-olds permanently, despite their current quality.

The A-League will take them with open arms.

I just hope that we are done with this mercato well and 31 Jan is over soon.

Hopefully, we are also able to get a quality replacement for Vecino (might be the case - good chance that he will be out).

Eriksen aside, we badly need one combative midfielder (similar to Vidal/Allan kinda).

Allan swap with Vecino? Where do I sign?!
^^ in the fantasy world, ADL would rather sell Napoli than give us Allan. They are also looking into selling Callejon now that they have Politano, rather them losing him on a free in summer.

SPAL have rejected a €21m offer from Napoli for striker Andrea Petagna, according to Sky Sport Italia. Striker Fernando Llorente isn’t in coach Rino Gattuso’s plans, and Gattuso wants another striker.

Fiorentina have equalled Napoli’s offer of €15m plus bonuses for the 23-year-old Amrabat. Now it’s up to the Tuscan side to match Napoli’s contract offer.

Meanwhile, Levy is using our money to buy Piatek. Tottenham are offering Milan a choice of players, believed to be between Erik Lamela, Juan Foyth and Victor Wanyama, in order to get the price down. It remains to be seen as to whether Milan will agree.

I don't like Vecino, but I rather have him than Lamela. Not only is Lamela is winger that we don't need, but he is also consistently injury prone and inconsistently shite. This is one of the few cases where a double negative is not a good thing.

Vecino will be sold for money guys. There's also no need to take someone else's garbage in the deal as long as they are willing to pay us what we're asking for.

Everton seems in pole position at the moment, Tottenham also wants him and there's several other teams, including Man United, that could be willing to do a deal.

Napoli have reportedly agreed a deal with Hellas Verona for defender Marash Kumbulla, worth €20m plus €4m bonuses for next season.

The centre-back turns 20 next month and is already a senior Albania international, even though he was born and raised in Italy. This is his debut Serie A season, playing 14 games and scoring one goal.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs have reached an agreement for the player, but still need to convince him that this is the right transfer. Many clubs have shown an interest in Kumbulla, above all Inter.

West Ham United have made a €40m offer for Uruguay international Nahitan Nandez, claim Italian reports, and Cagliari are considering it.

According to Pedulla, Napoli have an agreement with Verona (15m plus 5m bonuses) while Inter have an agreement with Kumbulla. Now it's up to the player.

Re Vecino, Pedulla reports Inter won't accept less than 20m.

Marotta's work is sloppy so I wouldn't be surprized if this is true and we end up paying Varona 2m more just because of his sloppiness.

Napoli is spending big this winter. They already bought Rrahmani, Demme, Lobotka and (almost) Politano for about 80 mln euro and still chasing next players: Kumbulla, Amrabat and Petagna/Pinamonti. A big revolution is coming next summer, Callejon and Mertens won't extend their contracts, Koulibaly, Ruiz and Allan will be sold for sure, not sure what about Zieliński & Milik whose contract will expire in 2021, so it's the last chance to sell them for decent money.
Generally, I'm glad that De Laurentis is still investing, it's important for the league to have strong competitors.

They should sell Manolas to a PL club instead of Koulibaly. They'd get more money from a Koulibaly sale but their moves appear like their aim is to become a team that chases 4th spot. I guess that's good enough for Napoli.

Koulibaly is poor this season (Manolas is even worse), so I think De Laurentis won't hesitate and let Senegalese go this summer. K2 is classy defender, but he needs a change, so I'm looking forward to see him in other team.
Generally, their moves are maybe not so spectacular, but that's how they built their team during Sarri's era - a lot of interesting players from Serie A (Allan, Hamsik, Zieliński, Jorginho) + few unknowns from abroad (Mertens, Koulibaly, Ghoulam). This time they are focusing only on Serie A targets, probably to limit the risk.

They should sell both if you ask me. In two years no one would want them even on a dry loan deal.

Napoli should sell him to PSG and get Paredes as part of the deal.

De Laurentis doesn't sell to Juventus so I'm not really worried about them landing him.

We were never in contention for him so if anyone's been joked on is people who believed that we'd get him after a Vecino sale :D

If he's around and we don't have Vidal by the end of the season I suspect that we will attempt to go for him, but Marotta may prefer to go for Tonali + Milinkovic-Savic.

How about our wings? There are news about Tonali/SMS already but it seems like there is no ‘Kulusevski’. It cant be Chiesa.

What wings?

So far we have on our books:
Candreva
Asamoah (wants an extension  )
D'Ambrosio
Young
Dimarco
Lazaro
Dalbert

And we have options on both Biraghi and Victor Moses (12m each).

We aren't in the market for wings and we can only use one. I'm not even including Perisic, Salcedo, Politano etc here because they're not 3-5-2 wingers.

We are now part of the classic "we need to sell before we buy" loop when it comes to our wings.

As long as we don't keep downgrading them I'm okay with it assuming that we go all in for that midfield.

If we end up with Eriksen, Barella, Brozovic, Tonali, Sensi and then one of De Paul or even better Milinkovic-Savic for the midfield it's going to be an excellent achievement. The rest of the team can simply pick up on their quality and the wings won't matter as much.

But seeing that we said no to Dani Alves in the summer and ended up spending 30m for Lazaro and Moses is just mood killing
