It frustrates me that I know we have the team to win but idk which team is gonna show up.

I was totally surprised how we beat Atalanta. How the team played and fought.

We have trouble against fast wingers with our 3 at the back.

The Dortmund loss still haunts me.

Lets not go the the match. Bundesliga knows the result already. Cant wait for a simple 2-0 to bring their havertz down on earth. Fucking havertz at 21 seems better than messi.

Anyway, just buy a defensive midfielder already or bring cambiasso back from retirement. Then play Barella in a vidal role or Brozovic as a box to box and Eriksen as a Sneijder role.

Theeen send gagliardini back to atalanta, valero back to spain, he needs another hobby. The problem is I dont know who is gonna be that defensive midfielder.

We need to defend deep if they have that kind of pace. And dont distribute the ball to gagliardini in defence, brozovic needs to carry it.

Noticed this as well. Been way too long since an Inter game was on US television. Think the last one was the away game against Fiorentina, which was about 30 games ago (all comps). ESPN aired a ton of Sassuolo and Bologna games post-restart, but zero Inter games. Literally, zero.

(There's a chance the Getafe game was on television but I didn't look for the right channel at the right time. No real way to verify at this point, and no real reason to bother, either.)

Yes, I thought ESPN owned Bologna their matches were on all the time. All the interesting matches were on ESPN + which have pay for. ESPN will be airing the upcoming season as well. Thank goodness for the Spainish channels for the European tournaments else we would be reduced to watching talking heads discussing sport instead of actually showing them.

I don't fancy us either. We don't meet teams like this in Serie A very often. And from what I've seen in recent days, Serie A sucks at this level. Also, these German fuckers are well rested.

I hope am wrong, just got a bad feeling about this one, mainly because of that Dortmund nightmare.

It's pretty simple any competent coach would win this EL easily with the squad we have right now given the opponents we have to face. We shouldn't even struggle against anyone except maybe Man U that we should still defeat without too much complication if we had a good coach, which we don't, which is why you all are terribly afraid of every team we face.

Conte is obviously a shit coach, anyone who cant see this is blind or stupid or both.

The problem is non shit coaches out there like Klopp, Gasperini or Sarri either needed a long time to implement their system or failed miserably at bigger clubs or both. Im not convinced that we can replace Conte, who is a shit coach btw, effectively and reliably.

To think more about it, do non shit coaches even exist in this world? Pep who's spent billions and still can't find success in Europe or Zindane who lost to Pep with an equally expensive squad?

So no thanks, I'm sticking with the shit coach we have, unless he goes out and shit on the whole team, again.

2. Barella and Co... Barella, Brozo, DeVrij, Handa, Lautaro
3. "Away advantage"... Inter have performed well away from home this season, anyway no fans will be there
4. League position yardstick... Inter 2nd in Serie A, Leverkusen 5th in Bundesliga
5. Don Antonio... has won x, y, z, lights a fire under the players etc.

Now as for what will actually happen... no idea.

Individuality? What individuality? We're no longer that team which relies on fucking Icardi and certainly not Barca relying on Messi nor Jube relying on CR7 this season. This is non-sense to even think about the progress Inter achieved this season in the leagues based on individuality. Stat-wise, you can see Bluenine post on the other thread where every players contribute almost fairly for Inter progress. While our style of play isn't linear relying on one person in scoring? Again, what individuality? Care to elaborate?

Silly excuses? The very fact that we always struggle in Europa League in recent years is silly excuse for us to advance in EL? I said it, the arrogance and underestimation are overbearing.
