Honestly even losing against Manchester United in the final is unacceptable, Man U being such an historic club is the only thing that makes it somewhat competitive but in reality we should beat them too.

It’s funny you brought up that we’re 2nd in the league and then bashing Conte as a shit coach. Who the hell you think takes us to that progress? Fucking Spalletti while farming? You hate him as gobbi, yes indeed. But if you hate him as he’s bringing progress to our club then it’s just unfair and overbearing. To be honest, Conte’s hating bandwagon here has become overbearing and irrational day by days.

Now, you can’t really compare the positions in the league in this competition. Within tournament system, it doesn’t give a shit about where you finish in the league. Gobbi just got beaten by Lyon. And what achievements do we have in this competition? Just some years ago, we finished 4th in the group stage and lost against Beer Sheva from trash league. Meanwhile, Man U had won it in recent years and to be honest, Sevilla has better chances of winning the tournament as they’ve always conquered it.

Point is, I dont want Conte or the players underestimate any opponents although it’s 2nd-tier level tournament in Europe (well, perhaps it’s that sense of arrogance and underestimation which makes us almost always fail in the tournament). I still want Conte to approach the game with careful tactical necessary to win each of the games here.

So that means we'll have to play better than how we did against Getafe to beat them. It's doable, but it's not going to be a walk in the park.

It's a one off game, it's a fucked up covid season, there are excuses for not performing well and asterisks if you do perform well. Fans always want their teams to win, but the context of the whole situation makes everything so iffy, which is why fans with diverse options are agitated.
