Padelli signed an extension today.
jokes aside i dont see why people are so content with the berni stuff. its not that long ago that even carrizo/castellazzi had to play a few games for us. Our players should add value, and its clear Berni doesnt tbh. Fine, he's on a nothing salary, but still. I'm sure we must be able to find a better club trained keeper for the 3rd spot tbh.
Well Berni had value, bunch of cards and suspensions without playing a game, he sure knew how to ruffle a few feathers from the touchline
So I think it’s officially official and can’t be denied anymore, I love our Handy Dandy goalkeeper but he’s not at that level anymore and we need to move on.
Who are we looking at? Dragowski, Strakosha, Meret?
I have no idea honestly but something needs to be done
Allegedly Inter have identified Musso as Handa's successor but IMO he's mediocre. If that's the level we're aiming at we may as well keep Radu who costs nothing, and if we're willing to pay there's better options elsewhere. I say go for Onana from Ajax.

Musso is better than Onana honestly.
Maybe that Brazao kid will be incredible.
I realise there's a lot of hype around Brazao and he could be a top GK one day but at the moment he can't even be considered a better option than Radu. He's struggling to start in Segunda Division.
Since you watch Ligue 1 a lot, what's your opinion on Maignan of Lille? I haven't watched him a lot but whenever i have he looks really promising.
Musso is better than Onana honestly.
Now or in potential? Because Onana is 2 years younger and only get challenged in the CL and not in the Dutch league so I find it hard to compare. Onana did played incredible games in the CL year where Musso only played for Udinese and once for Argentina in a friendly if I remember correctly? Not saying playing for Udinese means you are a lesser goalkeeper but it is hard to compare keepers who are acting on a different stage. One only gets challenged when he is playing in Europe or maybe 4/6 matches in his league where Musso get challenged every week in Italy but not in Europe etc.
As for prospects there is a lot of quality out there one I'd like to see which would be unpopular I think is Kepa.. dropped by Chelsea.. he just needs a ressurgance.
Both I think.
Onana's best trait is his reflexes and Musso has him beaten there.
Onana is very prone to silly mistakes that I have not seen Musso make and that's also playing for a side that gets a good hammering usually whereas Onana plays for a ball dominant side and in a league where his team is a juggernaut.
Musso has the vibes of a top goalkeeper, very calm presence overall, whereas with Onana I always get a feeling that he's very nervous and it can make everyone around him nervous too. He plays very aggressively as well, which sometimes is a sign that he's not well tamed for a goalkeeper. This makes him indecisive when to go out of his goal line to clear the ball, he's messing up punching the ball or grabbing it (Buffon also had that issue but look at him).
