Again few idiotic choices that almost cost his country point against Russia.

his form at the beginning of the season has been poor. Wouldnt be surprised if he gets replaced by Vidal in the starting lineup.

I think this is coin he keeps promoting. Give me 20.
Yeah fuck it, chuck 20 quid on it. Somehow Brozovic has made it in life, why not follow his crypto advice

In terms of football, he's definitely still going through the gears. Didn't see it as much in the Verona game, but he seems to be lurking on the edge of the box looking to shot a lot more under Inzaghi.

And we definitely need to renew his contract. I don't really want to base our team around him as the anchor, but I definitely do not want to lose him for free. There's not many Brozovic types around these days.

Inter Reportedly in a Stalemate in Extension Talks with Liverpool Target

Inter are in a difficult spot in the negotiation with Marcelo Brozovic. The current contract of the midfielder expires in 2022. A few teams, including Liverpool, have taken an interest in signing him as a free agent. The parties are distant from reaching an agreement. However, the atmosphere between them is serene and collaborative, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

Inter offered a four-year deal with €4M wages plus bonuses. Instead, Brozovic asked to earn close to what the newcomer Hakan Calhanoglu is making, €6M per year, including the add-ons. The club would like to come to terms sooner rather than later. But the talks will take a great deal of patience, the publication adds.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, coach Simone Inzaghi and the front office consider him an indispensable part of the team. On the other hand, the Croatian international is almost 29 and is looking for the penultimate payday of his career, the richest one. Therefore, he is asking for considerable sums to put pen-to-paper. The salary given to Lautaro Martinez, whose extension should be announced soon, is a factor too.

Brozovic would have offers from the top clubs in England, Spain, and Germany if he committed to transferring through a Bosman move from January on, the transfer market expert relays. Inter are determined to avoid such scenario, but they will have to improve their offer. The midfielder joined the Nerazzurri in 2016 from Dinamo Zagreb. He accumulated over 240 appearances, tallying 25 goals and 32 assists.

I'm not so convinced the demand is there. He's had a 40mil ish release clause for ages and there's never really been talk of anyone matching it. 6mil a season is 12mil a year gross which is north of £200k a week which would basically put him at Van Dijks level. Can't see it happening. Don't think he'd even be a first team starter.

He should be at least on par with Hakan, maybe a hair lower than Lautaro. I agree with him there.

If we complain about the lack of player loyalty towards their clubs, the clubs should at least make some gestures towards the players who have spent the majority of their prime seasons with them.

We can't not expect Brozovic to not want the same if not more than Hakan, that is totally reasonable considering his status among the squad and the fact he is the engine of the midfield. He has been great for us and pivotal in most attacks holding the back line.
Let's give this guy a fair contract he deserves.
