I don't think that was really the case. The mercato was more based on keeping the team that won the treble last season together.

Definitely #1 for me. I didn't expect Coutinho to be at this level he is playing at the moment. He's been inconsistent but that's the only expected thing. His highs have been way much better than I thought they would be at this stage of his Inter career.

as i said earlier in this thread (to much displeasure from the fanboys), nobody (besides Inter fans) gives a hoot whether he is big, tall, small, fat or skinny OR whether he has played in EU, africa, asia, US or whatever OR whether he has small potential, big potential, huge potential or whatever OR whether he's 1/4 adapted, 1/2 adapted, 3/4 adapted or whatever

these are the players who is being compared against directly, whether you like it or not
and it is quite obvious he is not #1 of those players....

Which list you are talking about? And why Coutinho should be compared to some other players?
