I wouldn't mind him as a squad player, replacing Materazzi, actually. He would barely play anyway, he has almost minumum wage and can perform really well on his day.
Good, he can be a starter in Gasperini 3 man defense

When we first signed him it said his contract was set to expire in 2011, so we must've given him an extension at some point.
I still remember him putting decent outings for us, before Mourinho for some reason start him against Man Utd @ the Meazza. He was absolutely abysmal that day and never recovered from it at all. Hopefully the times have changed.

Rivas is
Inter is not a mediocre team, dump him... I remember when he was HORRENDOUS! in Deportivo Cali and Pasto in Colombian League...COLOMBIAN LEAGUE FFS, I saw him a couple of times, seriously...He signed for River in a doubtful deal when River bought Rivas for 1M and a day after swiss team Locarno (team of a friend of Aguilar) bought 50% of his rights for 1.5M, that deal, favored José Maria Aguilar, River's president in that moment. How he became "idol"? Because Aguilar paid their "Curva": Los Borrachos del Tablón for supporting him, creating chants especially for Rivas cheer him... Make the man "famous" and sell him, then appeared Inter. He never made merits to be where he is, he's just a lucky guy... Inter is a big team, for big players, youngsters with bright future, not Rivas.
Inter needs to find a way of getting rid of players. Didnt he go to some Ukrainian team? I thought that was for good.
Yeah, Rivas, Kharja, Muntari, Suazo...I just jizzed in my pants.
