Actually most of the players that were on loan and aren't useful for the team are not included in the team . They are added to a virtual reserve team because there are rivas , kerlon , tremolada and many others who's loan has finished and are not included in the squad list

Kerlon was sold, and I'm pretty sure Rivas' contract was set to expire this year.

Nothing since both were already in italy. You don't get any extra non eu spots if players leaves. You get one spot for incoming transfer for a non eu player from outside italy per season, hopefully going to be extended to 2 very soon.
