But I don't believe it. It was so widely reported that the formula will be 25m€ + 2m€ bonuses.

Whether it's 21mil or 27mil doesn't make much of a difference. Either way it's not going to be a very impressive figure. So, it's not like we sold him because we got some indecent offer we couldn't refuse, we sold him to get him off the books because FFP is fucking us in the ass.

Anyway - if the €21m is the value of this transfer, then obviously Branca and co. have made a huge mistake - which is why I believe that the spokesman is telling a lie. I sincerely doubt that Moratti would describe a €21m offer with adjectives such as "intelligent" and "fair".

I just hope there is some sort of plan related to this sale. They've known for weeks now that he would be gone, so one ought to think that they've made assessments of what this team needs.
