Well right now I wont believe in shit anymore and I want to hear what inters officials have to say at this and I want to hear it fast! We have Italian media on one end that's usually full of shit and a club spokesman on other.

Unless somebody can bring a example of Anzhi officials doing something similar I'll take this quite seriously.

SE SALTELLI....
Whether it's 21mil or 27mil doesn't make much of a difference. Either way it's not going to be a very impressive figure. So, it's not like we sold him because we got some indecent offer we couldn't refuse, we sold him to get him off the books because FFP is fucking us in the ass.
correct bro......BUT you add on the wages and cost of 2 new players, and the loss of income of finishing with 0 tituli, and you will understand the whole economics of it. Do you know how much winning the scudetto and coppa is worth....we could have paid eto'o till his retirement. And lets not even think about CL and qualification.Now im not saying it will happen...but basic economics 101 'with all things being equal, take all factors into consideration'.

Haven't read or listened to the interview...but maybe he meant in pounds? :|

Still a shitty deal...

I'd trust Anzhi's representative over GDS and Sky. :lol:

Ah, spare me the fucking "pull yourself together", "get your shit together" bullshit like y'all are so much older & experienced & figured it all out & shit all seems normal to your with your grand age.

That Anzhi fuck talking to BBC mentioning a total figure of 21 million in detail, is more credible to me than a couple of newspapers who have been throwing around with numbers all month long.

I hope I'm wrong believing BBC, but I really like to see your faces & reactions if that number is indeed right...

...acting all cool on me.

I think we are all as concerned as you are. It is indeed a sign of a lack of ambition when a club sells its biggest star, and when the rumoured price is as low as €21m, we all ought to freak out a little bit.
...but capital letters, threatening to blow up Inter's HQ - stuff like that is just childish, melodramatic and, at least to me, it seems to be something a pseudo-Inter enthusiast would say.

We might consider other possible reasons to this sale - maybe Eto'o wanted out? - and instead of having a Pandevesque case, we negotiated with Anzhi and €21m was all we could squeeze out of them.
Maybe his wages were too big to this new Inter which meant that we were more desperate to get rid of him than Anzhi were at acquiring him. Maybe €21m is as good as it could have gone, thus making this low fee not a result of incompetence (current incompetence at least), but just a consequence of our bad economy and the actual need to get rid of him.

Oh, and Berlusconi just increased the taxes by, what, 10%? If Eto'o were to earn the same as he used to post taxes, we would have to actually increase his wages by 10%, making it another million per annum.

It's even more "childish" to take words by their literal meanings in an occasion like this, where I did use all possible means to express my anger & dissatisfaction. But hey you're right... such a noble & balanced personality like you wouldn't do something like that. This is all for us "children". :lol:

Ahhh, just cut the crap. It's Eto'o's thread. My Psychoanalysis done by you is the last thing I'll need right now.

Moratti's strategy at the end of last season (as some see it);

* Hire new manager
* Renew Lucio contract
* Complete new signings
* Sell Eto'o to a billionaire Russian club

21 million euros? is that confirmed? wow, that's shocking. Hardly worth selling him even if balancing the books is needed. Haven't you spent a lot of that already?

If 21 millions is indeed true then Inter must be in a bigger financial mess than previously reported.

I mean, why else would Eto'o go to a club in a mickey mouse league for almost the same wages he got at Inter unless the club were desperate to sell him to free up some cash....

Does anyone else think that this might be related to Saras's recent financial troubles? (or so I have heard)

Sneijder & Eto
so it looks like we got the really short end of the stick, we sold eto'o for cheap and don't have a replacement of his caliber, to fix the whole we now have in our offense. To make matters worst the season is about to start and gasp still doesn't think we should change from a 3-4-3 formation. What else can go wrong for inter?

Moratti's strategy at the end of last season (as it is);

* Hire new mediocre manager from oblivious smaller teams.
* Renew Lucio contract
* Sign pathetic unknown youngsters for first team.
* Sell our best player to a billionaire Russian club for less than 25 mill.
* Hurr Durr

is the same argument as saying that missi missed a bunch of PK last season, it has no significance on the overall performance!!!
