If he was 20-21 I would definitely take him but at 24 years of age how much can he develop?

Much.

Pajo's clarification of Gomez's abilities don't make me wanting this player badly, though.

He's been at Catania for 2 years now and he hasn't shown that much of a promise.

lol hmm that weird when i watch bologna he is usually on the left like a lw but i will take your word for it like i said earlier im not hating on gomez i said i would buy him we will flip him for a profit for sure! i just believe ramirez is more quality.

He drifts a lot, he is mobile. He is faster than Ricky, thus would be more suited to play as winger, but wont be his natural position. Although you could see him more on the right drifting inside than on the elft.

Much.

It's the truth. He reminds me A LOT on younger Lavezzi tbh... Lacks the finish, but can bring a lot for the team. A LOT. If he can reach Lavezzis level reemains to be seen, but for the rumored price, i'd gladly take him.

haha that would take a major improvement! but you cant underestimate the fact that the runs him and palacio will be making will open up a lot of space we are like a poor mans byern munich except we can actually defend (hopefully). also the fact that in two seasons he has played almost every game is good we need players who arent injury prone

Well I really doubt Gomez is anywhere NEAR young Lavezzi's talent level. Lavezzi has (and has always had) a certain vision how to play the game. I'm pretty certain if Gomez had such a vision he would have been bought from Catania long time ago.

Not necessarily. Catania now stands where Napoli was 4 years ago. I think lavezzi was slightly better in his age, was more creative and had more vision, but he also had slightly better attacking players around him.

That's why i said, he might, but not necesarily develop as Lavezzi. My point is that Gomez reminds me on him, has similar qualities and similar negative sides. And are exactly the same type of players.

Should pay 6 with bonuses on how he does in first year.

8 is too much.

Reminds me of Zarate more than Lavezzi tbh, but whatever.

-Gomez---Milito---Palacio

Can't wait for the new season to start.

With a benchbreaking midfield of
---------Sneijder---------
Mudingayi---Cambiasso--

behind those.

Hmmm, on Zarate? No actually. Zarate is a ball hog, selfish and has average workrate. His technique and natural talent is waaaay above both Lavezzi and Gomez. But he is fucked up in his head.

On the other hand, Gomez and Lavezzi are fast, with huge workrate players, and lesser natural talent. As i said, younger Lavezzi = Gomez. Their strengths and weaknesses are basically the same.

With all other options nearly eliminated, we need to be going after Gomez before Catania can fuck us over with the price because they no we have no other options. Gomez is a good player that will get better. I agree with Pajo to a certain extent about his comparison to a young Lavezzi. One thing I do like about Gomez is his directness. He attacks the box with pace and does not frequently dwell on the ball.

We still hunt for big fish, we could get Gomez until we miss all of our target. If Inter is really after Gomez it would be a quick done deal just like Palacio and he will be at Inter now. Problem is maybe the board arent interesting in him anymore.
