Puyol is having doubts about his barca future, his contract runs out at the end of this year...on a free it would be the best transfer ever...where else can he go really if he were to leave?

WTF? Puyol is bullshit player.

you might think that because he always defends 1v1 but look at Cannavaro... shit in la liga, back in serie A and his back to his best. La Liga is not a league for defenders

It doesn't matter if he's bullshit or the best CB in the world. What matter is he's too old. We already got one old CB, now we need young ones.

Word. I think Vidic is too old aswell, we need a guy who is born 1985-86 or later who can become a world class back wearing our colours and therefore grows to really love the club.

According to TMW, Inter would be chasing Jerome Boateng of Hamburg SV. He is a 21 year old central defender who already made his debut for the German national team. His prize must be around 12 million euro.

Another thing is Marco Andreolli who could return to the Meazza because Nico Burdisso has said he wants to stay with Roma.

How has Andreolli being playing off-late? I recall he had a bad injury the year he joined Roma, and was later loaned out to a Serie B side. But isn't he bak in the Roma team for this season?

andreolli is nonsense....
i hope he does not return

boateng is a very good prospect, but he is too young and really, we have no need for him now.....
lucio and samuel are bonafide starters and will not be benched for at least another 2 years..

in 3 years time, boateng = yes
because by that time, matrix will certainly be retired and maybe even cordoba

He made 28 appearences for Sassuolo in Serie B last season (1 goal) and now he is indeed back at Roma.

His prize must be around 12 million euro.

Not AROUND 12 million, MAXIMUM 12 million, because he has a buy-out clause in his contract with that ammount of money.

According to this article, we are very close at finding a deal for Mario fernandes of gremio. The club's scouts have been noted on the stands during Gremio's last game, and now it seems that Inter have approached the player's agent and found an agreement with him. Next step is to find an agreement with Gremio, who apparently are asking for a massive fee of 12M euros. If this is confirmed and an agreement is found, than that will only mean that as I expected, Maicon is out this summer.

Here's a vid of him. He's defensively very sound, but doesnt have Maicon's verve going forward. I really see him as a Mourinho type of defender. Defensively good, and starts the attacking game from behind. I do believe there might be something true in this rumour.

When I first read that rumor some days ago, I thought he was a right back. But according to Wikipedia, he's more like CB and played a bit out of position as RB in Gremio. Well that sounds better that his main pos is CB. We need those, he could be a perfect apprentice for Lucio. We have Maicon, Santon and Zanetti for RB pos so his designated pos definitely wouldn't be RB. Even if Maicon is shipped next summer. But multifunctional players are always welcome.

After his performance in yesterday's match, will we finally get a break from having to hear about how wonderful Kjaer is for a while?

If Kjaer is a great defender, than Balotelli should automatically be a ballon d’or contender…

Paolillo mentioned that we were not interested in Kjaer few days before the game itself. It would have been embarrasing had he said we were looking at him and then this.
