Maicon was a bit of inconsistent in the middle of the season, and I was so affraid of his form, but lately he was amazing, one of the important reasons that we are WHERE WE ARE NOW, and Maicon at his best would give us much profits, so after winning the treble I would accept offer of 50+ millions for him.

Of course. Everyone wants to stay and 'deeply loves' the club when it is winning and the player could go down in history.

When things weren't going all that well like last year (when we got knocked out of the CL) I doubt Maicon would so willingly have made those same gestures.

The difference between Maicon and Ibrahimovic last year was that Ibrahimovic lost patience while Maicon decided to give it one more year. Now Maicon is being rewarded and he loves it.

I agree with Stefan, don't waste your breath on him. If he wants to stay great, if he wants to leave, great.

Squad rejuvenation Meanwhile, the team needs to be rejuvenated. On the defense, the purchases of Luca Castellazi (Toldo was considering whether to continue, but at Madrid, it was almost certainly the last game of his career), Andrea Ranocchia and Leonardo Bonucci are virtually done. Ranocchia will remain with Bari until at least December, so he can have continuity of playing after a serious knee injury. Bonucci could also be loaned out to an important club and then return to Inter in 2011.

The purchases of Castelazzi, Bonucci and Ranocchia are virtually done?!?!? They could be talking out of their ass.

Don't see how bonucci could be nearly done, considering genoa and bari are still sorting out the co-ownership. If we can get both bonucci and ranocchia that would be great. But it does mean by 2011-2012 season two of current cb's will need to be gone.
