Great. Now only think which is needed is a confirmation that Seba Veron won't join Inter. After that everyone can sleep their nights calmly.

I'm a no-Diego, even though I love his name, I'm a no-Deco, even though I love his game ;D

(first time I hear Figo recommended him, and I would believe it only if I see him say it; one reason why I'm against is coz I wouldn't like to see a Deco-Figo situation from the Portugal NT)

Veron is obviously a no-go; while Riquelme is a complete stranger, hes anyway becoming the hottest goods. I believe if there weren't for that Villareal episode, we'd already be after him. Depending on the finish of the CopA (I nevertheless pray that Chino massacres him ;p) we might be one of the bidders.

All in all, Roman 1+1 yrs with Nasri on board in the second year would be my wish list, at the moment.

And now, go Chino go! Kill'em all, and come back alone!!

LOL good rap dude. But I disagree with you.

That said, on your other point about Figo/Deco situation in the NT. Figo takes on a big playmaking role in the NT and Deco is actually a lot more offensive.....in Inter, both of them are not likely to be on the field at the same time..but just my two words...Figo is kinda like an anchor CM to which all the activity flows to and from....short passes.....in the NT...while Deco goes on more breaks...and fullbacks are VERY involved in Scolari's systems

I don't know about Nasri.. he is THE biggest diver and cry baby. And Veron signing, for his age, will be ok coming off the bench and help out. BUT where are the big name signings? Inter are taking this matter very lightly. It's our 100th anniversary and all w have to show for is Suazo!

it be good to compare our dream players and our current players stats,

just heard somewhere quaresma scored 5 goals last campaign, same with deco
and their assists arent much better

all these players sound so exotic in these threads yet their stats are pretty average,

my point, stick with this squad and add 1 HUGE signing like Messi

my old man just told me Moratti made an offer for Nedved, source is the Turin based La Stampa

I heard about the offer for Nedved too
no way we should sign him
a super diver and a pure jube
having him will only lower our team's morale

6.5/7 mil. € is way too much, 3-4 mil would be OK but if we want a bench player I am 100 % there are any players out of their contracts who would be as good as Kováč. Radoslav is 27 and I don't think he would like to spend his best football years sitting on the bench (there are still at least 2 years in Vieira). Someone younger would be better if we want to care about team's future. :)

7m for a back-up? :wth:

I've never heard of this Kovac dude. Why spend so much on a back-up player? Hell, it's only 2m short of Suazo!

You got a point, how many assists did Quaresma make exactly?

Problem is, I don't think we are going to make one big signing, especially if we are talking about Messi. Our management doesn't seem to be willing to splash out cash on individuals nowadays, just look at the number of players we are rumoured to, much less than previous seasons.

Yea.. its been a long time since we splash a big amount of money for one player.
The last one.. Vieri..

Anyway hope we would get Riquelme(wont be too expensive) around 8m-15m.
For that amount of money, it would be worth while to try out with him.
Hope he will perform for us..(if he is what mancini wants)

No it's not suazo total deal was worth 14 million euros. Half of Acquafresca was included and some money which I think was more than 9 million euros.

2 big chapters

so tell me ur list Dario !!

LOL dude... read my post before your post! I just agreed with ragazzofortunato's list - except Diego - i think he can do it.

In my vision, there are 2 OPTIONS :

A.
THIS SUMMER, if we wanna try to go BIG, ONE of the following :

* Deco ~ 20 mil. euro // experienced, won CL both with Porto & Barca! Figo's choice. Can be bought IF Ronaldinho won't go to milan.
* Riquelme ~ 8-15 mil. euro // ON FIRE at Coppa America, but reportedly incosistent. Still, he is an argentine and I am sure he would do his best for his argentine friends. Killer assists despite sometimes slow.
* Diego ~ 20+ mil. euro // wonderkid... i like him but he is NOT as tall & strong like Kaka' ... i'm afraid that he could be another Emre/Pizarro ... except that this time he would have a SWAT team behind ;) [Vieira-Cambiasso/Stankovic-Zanetti]
* Quaresma ~ 20 mil. euro (Porto don't need to sell, they cashed in a shit load of money in the last 3 seasons) - my favourite choice... you say he won't fit us because he is a winger... but so was Figo before joining us... i think he can adapt because he has great vision and perfect pass`n`cross. Besides he is not forced to deliver immediate, we still have Figo & Stankovic...

talking about this, here is the OTHER OPTION :

B.
We stick to our record breaking winning team [in Serie A...] :

* LOAN - Luis Jimenez - chilean young playmaker... he was doing great with Lazio last season! no risk by spending tons of millions... and we could save that money on playmaker to get someone BIG like Messi/Nasri next year! We still have Figo & Stankovic this year... in this B. case we should also sign a decent, i repeat myself, decent (NOT Dacourt) [defensive] midfielder sub. for Vieira & Cambiasso.

+ one of the following: Enzo Maresca / Diarra / Kovac /...

What would you choose?

PS: Camoranesi, Nedved were shitty rumours... while we shouldn't rely on a 17-year old Pato... NO to Veron. We don't need Veron.

I would choose option 2 and get Nasri next summer. Nasri is the real deal and I would wait 1 year for him. I would try and get a deal this summer to arrange the transfer for next year. But I would wait on him.

dario, your posts are so long, and informative, it's almost like reading a book, something i dont do very often :) , anyway, i choose option two only if we can not get quaresma or riquelme. I would like kovac as a sub or maresca tho. Hell any of those options would be great, but for the long run, i choose 2.
