Wasnt mancini supposed to go on loan to Marseille?

He was supposed to, but he didn't. He's blaming OM, they're blaming Inter, blah blah blah. There were rumors he wanted more money than they wanted to pay, but also that he didn't want to leave Italy cos of family issues (has he got a new baby, or something?). Anyway, he's still here.

Anyway, with getting Fernandes there is not much point for further discussion on this thread. At least until the summer...

I think that our directors have done the best they could at this moment, now it's the player's time to prove his worth.

i think Manuel Fernandes is a good signing for us, especially on loan.

He's young and very energetic. i like the fact that he likes to get stuck into tackles too.

i think our major failing in our midfield is that we don't have any real height. i think this is why krhin has stayed around the squad and vieira was kept around so long.

i agree i think fernandes is quite good as well.......if we have him on loan now, i'm sure mou will make it permanent later on.......wow if u follow mou's work u'll see that u really loves defensive midfielders that can make splitting passes....with deco and ballack and lamps....anyway fenandes is wat we need we may just as well forget ledesma and other guy in sporting

Fernandes gives us so many options. I watched him play for Everton many times. He has excelent skills on the ball as well as great vision. He is perfect for our midfield playing with sneijder as it will take pressure off of wes to come up with all of the creativity. In addition he is a great striker of a dead ball and took many of evertons freekicks. One area he admits he wants to improve is his goal scoring but I think that will come with an improved team. His chances will come with Eto'o, Sneijder, Milito and Balotelli / Pandev on the pitch. I hope he settles in well enough for Mou and Moratti to make it permanent

Thats an overstatement for sure. As for us getting Messi, I guess it won't happen for another few seasons.

Maicon might leave though but that topic is for another thread and day.

To get Messi this summer Inter would have to break the record transfer fee. Skeet is right he doesn't want to leave anyway...It would be awesome though

Reports coming in that a deal with Lazio is almost finalized for Ledesma, €10m + 'a number' of youth team players on co ownership. I really don't understand this. What is the point in bringing in young players and developing them just to give them away for an unnessessary player??
