I just wanted to say the Fellaini should be one of our options in the summer.

Fellani is better that Hamsik and Gourcouff because he can defend and attack, box-to-box midfielder, I think if Mourinho has to choose between them, then Fellani will has a better chance.

You are right: a good player in small team may fail in big team. But the same thing can be happen to Hamsik and Gourcouff. And Hamsik choke already when playing against bigteams.

I like Fellani because he has strong mentality (leadership) and seem to be intelligent to adapt to big team. The way he rejected big teams before coming to Everton is one of the proof of his smart: instead of money, he selected team which provide playing time to develop.

this was a really good laugh..

thanks

Just a final note, I watched Fellaini play against Liverpool two weeks ago, and I thought he was disgusting in that match. The fouls he commited were shameful really.

It may be one of his bad match. But he is also man of some matches.

Fellaini: 2 goals, 2 assists. Plus he just injured his ankle and will be done for the season.

Gourcuff: 5 goals, 6 assists.

Now lets look at a player that plays in our league, who is already used to playing in the Serie A...

Hamsik: 8 goals, 3 assists.

Which would you choose??

Does anyone else think we should go after Veloso in the summer? He's a pretty good deep lying playmaker, so him and another box to box midfielder would be great but I don't it would end up costing too much. Unless we sell Maicon I think we'll only splash the cash on one good midfielder.

I would like Inter to go after Ever Banega. He is a deep lying playmaker and only 21 years old. He is the reason Manuel Fernandes has been sitting the bench at Valencia. However I have a feeling they would not let him go for cheap. He has been a real source of creativity in there squad. I also think Gago would do well for us. Seeing as all Real's rejects do.

I haven't seen enough of Veloso to say whether or not we should buy him.

Manuel is better than Banega.. from what i've seen from Banega, he is so fucking overrated... IMO fernandes is better player than Banega, but fucked up in valencia due to his injuries...

Gago on the other hand... Well, i think he can be usefull, but im not 100% confident about him... As for Veloso, i haven't seen him, so i can't comment as well...

Statistics is good. But you have to be fair. Gourcuff and Hamsik are playing as AMF while Fellaini is put on the deffensive midfield position at Everton, just like Cambiasso at Inter.

But he can play AMF or box-to-box as well. If AMF, he should have better goal statistics.

agreed mate, and in reality Felliani isnt the same type of player as the two mentioned..id play Felliani in defensive duties which the two mentioned cant.
but he can play in offence and has great vision IMO

this player has nuts of steel and cant be pushed off the ball,he is like Muntari as in wqarrior but much better with the ball..when Cahill was out last season Felliani was immense:star: and contributed both in attack and defence

personally, with so many injuries in the defensive mid sector i reckon he would be a well adjusted mid for Inter

Honestly, I have my reservations on Fellaini's offensive ability. He seems to be a midfield jack-of-all-trades, who leans more towards defensive duties. He may be able to make a decent pass, and has good vision, but I'm not convinced he is as good as Gourcuff or Hamsik as an AM.

Talking about Veloso, I read at Mirror Football, that Mourinho may convert Veloso to a libero should Inter successfully get him, which means he won't be joining our midfield. Looks like Mou trying to do a Wenger here? :p But I haven't seen much of Veloso, besides in FM (where he's always immense). So I shall reserve my comments. Same goes for Banega and Fernandes.

you're right about Felliani's AM ability, he isnt an AM but can play in attack no doubt.. what Lucio does for us for example with the "bringing the ball through the middle" is a typical trait of Felliani's..

where a normal CM would use the first available pass(closest player) Fellianai doesnt..

he will run towards that closest player, and if that player is smart he will drag away the man marking opponent and open room/space for Fellianai..who in turn would use that gap/space to continue his run straight through on goal..

next thing you know Fellianai is delivering a nice through ball in the 16 yard box.. and sometimes that through ball will be returned to Felliani who will have a go on goal..

that is suffiecient for me, as most of our CM's just pump the ball upfield instead of having a intelligent run

I think that Manuel Fernandes definitely has a lot more energy and would be a much better box to box midfielder then Banega. However I can't agree that Banega is over rated. I think that he is a much better passer. If you want a deep lying playmaker to me Banega is the better choice.

Sporting president loves Quaresma very much. I think we should do everything to exchange him with Moutinho. He is much more needed here than Veloso. Veloso is a DM, Moutinho is much more a CM. Manuel Fernandes is injury prone. He wont get 2nd chance here, im sure.

if needed RQ should bring some millions in his suitcase to Lisbon.

I should agree with this..

If there would be any strong rumour that Ricky may go in Sporting then I would swap for Moutinho, he is great really.. I like the way that he plays and I think he might be great addition since Ricky has failed in Serie A and I would be much happy to swap him for Joao Moutinho.

But I don't think so this will happen, Ricky has show the interest that he want to stay with us.. Genoa offered him 10m but he refused to go.

Quaresma's salary is way too high for Sporting.

Javier Zanetti,
how many times do we have to repeat it, we want WORLD CLASS midfielders.. wtf is this about "Veloso" thing :wth:

please mention what kind of world class midfielder do you wish inter get in the summer transfer window...???

imo, what we really need is a midfielder that can:
1. hold the ball in his feet with ease.
2. dictate tempo.
3. a good passer specially through ball
4. support the attacking and defensive line with ease.
5. have great work rate and team work.

i dont mind if inter dont get any big name signing this summer... as long as we get the player that had those criteria above....
cz when we try to sign a world class player it means that we need to splash a big amount of money...
