Yeah, I know. Mascherano moved to Liverpool year ago at January transfer window and I remember (no source to base this) it is a 18-month-long loan deal, so it ends next summer. Then it's Liverpool's last moment to get him. If Moratti would say tell Joorabchian beforehand that "I want your player, I have the money", Inter would have at least a chance to get Masch if Liverpool don't have money to get him.

INTER 2009/10 !
LOL wtf??! Haven't you seen England-Croatia?

Anyway check out on youtube, there are clips of him..

He plays CM for Croatian NT in 442 flat formation, and AM for Dinamo in 4231 formation.. He is one of the 3 top midfielders in Europe right now, and this is not a crap.. When Dinamo sells him this winter or next summer, you'll get to know him..

As for Mascherano, dear lord, why would we even want him!? Like we don't have enough of DM already.. Cambiasso, Dacourt, Vieira and Zanetti, Stankovic Chivu and Burdisso can adapt on this role..

We need creative midfielder who can defend.. And I assure you, Luka Modrić is the man!

P.S. Hi Cro, whats up.. I haven't written for a long time on these topics.. :)

Well, Carvalho would threaten exactly Jimenez if the latter one will remain. I see the whole picture that Mancini will continue with 4-3-1-2 and that doesn't require many offensive mids in the squad. Quaresma is out of the question since he is just a winger (try to understand this, quys). If we would play with one center forward and two flanked forwards, Quaresma would be a perfect signing. But not now.
Actually Quaresma could play as a right flanked midfielder, like Cristiano Ronaldo, like Nani, like Figo

Modrić is super class..
But I dont agree Cambiasso and Veira are holding midfielders like mascherano is...
So if we bring Javier it wont be bad at all..

And Kova I have plans to vote for you as most missed member,or most laziest one...Thats how long you werent here

Let's hope the board doesn't go as crazy as some of you guys :)

Selling Vieira isn't an option realistically. There are loads of players out there who may fit nicely, but the important thing is that Mancini gets the players he feels suits his Inter. And we have gotten no clues as to what Inter are looking for in the summer or in January. I don't think anything big will happen in January however.

we're after Daniel Carvalho from CSKA, he's a talented player, but was out for a long time due to injury. Don't know much abou him, other than he's a brazilian CM/AM so I'm guessing he's a technical player with creativity.

Inter have confirmed the signature of Brazilian attacking midfielder Daniel Carvalho from CSKA Moscow.

The 24-year-old has agreed a switch from the Russian giants and will arrive in the summer.

It is believed that the former Internacional man will put pen to paper on a four-year deal as soon as he becomes a free agent in June.

“Carvalho is a player that our scouts have been tracking forever,” Inter’s general manager Ernesto Paolillo stated. “He is an important figure for the future.”

Carvalho is a non-EU player and may need to be sent on loan when he arrives as the Nerazzurri have a full complement of foreign players.

Reports suggest that Inter’s new man is in Milan today to undergo provisional medical tests and clarify his personal terms.

Let's hope he can turn out like Cambiasso. I think it's great that we are not splashing as much. Hopefully this will be another great costless transfer.

Anyway, why would we sign him and then send him away? I think he'll be with us for 2008/2009. Tuttosport said he'll be loaned out to Siena, but I don't see why. From CSKA to Siena is a step back for him, and at 24-25 I don't think he needs that.

But Paolillo said we have been after him for a long time so let's hope he'll be of use right away.

Simply because a) he'll get the chance to impress in Serie A with siena
and more importantly
b) We might need to keep a non-EU spot free... If we do then it leaves room for signing a bigger/better player.... It's better to loan out the non-eus you sign on free than it is to loan out someone you just spent 20mil on :p

My friends and I are liverpool fans, what I've heard from THEM is that Benitez asked to sign Kaladze off Milan and they rejected the discussion so early on. There was a squabble over Mascherano but I do NOT believe that this was by any means the main cause of their falling out.

I do believe Liverpool WILL sign Mascherano at the end of the season

So, Carvalho or Jimenez then? Bear in mind you can't loan out a player whom you have on loan, not even a co-ownership deal

WHAT!? we'll get him to send him on-loan? weird, since we are in dire need for a midfielder. But a very positive news is that we'll get him for free, which is much safer than our old splash money around habit.

Next target is Menez, I really hope we sign him!

I'm pretty certain we're doing exactly what we did with Maxwell and Julio Cesar. We're simply 'giving' his registration rights to Siena (or whoever) until next summer, and then we'll take him back.

That way we won't use our non-eu signing, because we're technically signing him from another Serie A team, and not from abroad.

I wonder why we don't try to get some italians! there are some very good talents like Cigarini, granted they're a bit different in style, but with new rules about having to have itlians in the team we need to be seriously searching for some good italian players!

Don't need to be Italians just home grown. We will use our youth team for those requirements.
