LOL that's exactly what I said in the Serie A thread, I guess it's true - we have a partnership with Genoa.

I like this club, they are making smart deals, I think they are helped by Branca! Some banned user here posted that we have a secret collaboration with them! I mean it could be easily a true scenario:

We won TREBLE -> we rule -> we made the right tranfers -> Branca GODLIKE -> Genoa likes to deal with us -> Great relationship between Moratti & Preziosi -> We offered them our know-how in exchange of a collaboration -> We tell them who to sign [promising players], of course younger players that are unconfirmed/not ready for INTER yet -> they do it, because we know how stuff works -> if they confirm in Serie A, we sign them

simple as that!! They have good players, raise their value, make performance in Serie A + they cash in a slightly improved amount than what they payed for them.

If you remember, we were slightly linked to both Veloso & Rafinha [as Maicon replacement]...

Will we have a surprise or not? Mascherano seems certain.

Interesting, from what i saw, he assembles Pandev alot... 2 things i like him better than Pandev is his speed and he has powerful shots...

yeah, pandev and mata are similar, Mata is better at some things, worse at other, but better overall... Mata is faster with slightly better dribbling, while pandev is better passer with better vision than Mata. Overall, i think Mata can do great for Inter and take Pandev starting spot.. But he wont come cheap you know, Valencia lost both Villa and Silva so far, so Mata wont come for at least 25 mils IMHO... Mata would be better on the wing as well, but he cant play as CF though..

In the games I've seen, Mata have been very average, I'm afraid. Then again, maybe you shouldn't trust my judgement since I'm not that crazy about David Silva either. I think this pair is hugely over-rated and Valencia is making great business at the moment. Selling Villa - who is going to be 29 later this year - for 40 millions wasn't bad either.

Senad, they are same age, Mata is few months older than Ozil.. So that is not an issue...

Also, he wont be cheaper, few mils maybe, which is not an issue as well.. Ozil would come for around 18 mils, while mata for 20 mils as reported...

As for the quality, i cant choose.. I think ppl are overrating ozil a bit, most of you rate him from the WC performances, but in the truth, he has never impressed in Werder that much..

So for me, if we have to choose, i'd choose Mata...

wasn't he their player of the season last year? anyway, he's a waste of money. What good is ozil to us wen we already have Sneiper playing in his position? I would really like to go after Inler at this point. Sort of player we need in midfield who can distribute. he would come at a decent price too.
