I wouldn't say close to the level of Tevez. They are both different attackers.
Tevez is more a hard worker and captain. I don't exactly see Higuain as captain/leader. But he has great qualities too

Probably because Pazzini is likely to be our new starter as a True #9 Striker as he has been very successful since his arrival, While Eto'o is more SS type player and may be hoping to replace him with Castaignos in a few years. We may be moving Milito to be a bench before he retires, not to mention we have FFP soon and need to develop some talent and can't spend here and there and everywhere like we once did as we can only have 40 million in losses this and next year and of recent we havn't made any money and Moratti has covered costs.

Buying players has the cost we spend split in the length of their contract and then their saleries added to our annual costs.
We could go buy a bunch of superstars but we will be in the negative and then Eufa wont let us compete in Champions league.

Its possible we hope for Destro to get some exp and plan to bring him back to sit bench for Pazzini to replace him in a few yrs.

Clubs around Europe have to turn to their academies once again and can't just buy so many players from other leagues with playing Exp as many of the clubs in europe are in massive debt by taking out loans or arent making any money at all with Owners covering costs.

I think that 15 million may be BS, he was one of Reals only good strikers and produced constantly,last year was 28 games and 27 goals the year before that 31 games and 22 goals and this year he was consistant till he got injured and had to have surgery on his back which took him out of the lineup and came back at the end of the year to finish with 10 goals in 17 games with 6 assists. If that article is true perhaps he is a bum now and even after weeks back is only half the player he once was. Back surgery is no joke so idk. Perhaps hes all good but they dont want to take any chances.

Pazzini is a classic #9 hes not fast, or a passer, Hes a technical finisher who scores goals and is good in the air. Just like Miltio.

Exactly, Madrid will never sell him, Higuain is regarded in the same bracket as Casillas and Ramos etc. they bought him as a youngster and have nurtured him into a world class no.9, just because he was injured this season doesn't mean Madrid will sell him...

They FORCED Sneijder out. He didin't want to leave. And they didn't care about him at all. Why would they do the same to their best striker? Unless of course Jose gets another world class striker.

Jose has clearly shown that he prefers CR, Di Maria & Ozil as his starting 3 forwards. I think he started with the same trio in all 4 Classicos, despite Higuain having recovered from injury. Obviously Mou would keep him as a squad player when he can but Higuain is in his prime and may not accept the bench that easily.

Hopefully we can get him or Kaka from Real this season. :hopeful:

It depends Han, how Jose wants to play. If he plays 4-3-3, like barca does, yeah, he might leave. Kaka too... But if he continues with the formation he was playing this season, 4-2-3-1, than Higuain is essencial to him.

But yeah, i agree that Higuain wont accept the bench role, so in that case, we may get him. And i really do hope, if his value really is 15 mils, which i doubt.

Jose wants Higuain but the president of Real doesn't like him and doesn't want him on the squad. Its Real man... they are run by monkeys. Raid them for Garay,Money and Higuian and give them Maicon. Great trade if you ask me
