Well, bit too late to talk about Vidal. We've been over this a long time ago. The poll on top of the page, in June/July, Vidal was leading by a mile. Not sure what our management was looking at... really inept.

He isn't Argie so it was a no. I don't get why people nut on Banega kid sucks def not Inter Material. Just another over rated Boca product. People realize there are more teams in Argentina than Boca and River and that River is in 2nd divison right? I still am mind blown when I read of big teams wanting River Players.

Yes because people like Banega because of what he did at Boca not for what he has done at Valencia.

Marin didn't develop in the last 2 years, and actually he can't give anything special to Werder. Don't know what Chelsea want to do with him, but he is for sure no Chelsea-material.

He was one of the most promising players 2 years ago. He cost less than what we paid for Jonathan and half what we paid for Ricky Alverez. People are calling Chelsea dumb? They are a team with so much money and this is a cheap gamble for them. Not saying we should have gone for him but it's not like the idiots on here that are like lets get Rossi because he is italian it doesn't matter he hasn't playd for over a year and just re-injured himself.

Jonathan was bought for 5 million euros...

It's true I haven't seen much of Marin for the past year but even if what he played 2 years ago is his top game, it's still an improvement for Chelsea's aging squad, as it would have been for Inter's.

I never called Chelsea dumb.
I only said, that he isn't Chelsea material. And you will see it.

Marin is crap, utter shit. Was hyped, and the hype hit his head. He is just a dribbler with no brain whatsoever. Was decent prospect 3 years ago, but failed to improve his game. In fact, he declined instead of improving.

Will be no better than Kalou is now for Chelsea, which says much.

I don't think Sahin is leaving either. Mourinho is not stupid.
Quaresma **cough cough**

probably b.s. but these rumors of Biglia to Real Madrid make me wonder.... maybe sahin is a possibility. If not Biglia should be an option for us. we someone to direct the midfield. anyone but stankovic.

Mou wants Portugese players, he wants his National team to get better. That LB he paid 20+ million for isn't that great either. In his defense Queresma looked like a World Beater at Porto.

Yes but he gambled on that one. Quaresma had already failed before he went to Porto but then he seemed to regain his old form. Nothing worth the huge amount of money nonetheless but it was worth a shot. Bringing Mancini was a far dumber move IMO.

Since we're on the midfield thread, it appears that Udinese is linked to Willians (DMC) from Flamengo. He's not that young (26 yo) but if Armero is actually playing well there, I'd say he'll play like Makelele. He's that kind of player, very defensive.

It 's similar to the other discussion about how Udinese seem to have a very good scouting network. Finding a good player who could come in an make an instant impact is exactly what Inter needs and instead the management keeps going after youngsters only.

If you didn't start out your post with Marin, I could have easily assumed you were talking about Zarate..

In what exactly? They've both accomplished nothing in their careers... they're both ball hogs.. and they're both not good enough to be starters on a good team.

Disagree, Mancini was a monster for Roma so we expected him to perform in serie a. Why he flopped is a complete mystery really. Quaresma on the otherhand.... he was a star and porto but he's never been a footballer in my eyes. Talented like crazy but nothing between the ears. We should never signed this guy. Still can't believe it happened.

that's inter management one good idea and twenty bad ones :palm:

One is 25 and $20 million euro , Striker who has pretty much flopped for Inter and was thrown out of Lazio
One is 23 a play maker who was great 2 years ago but failed to shine the past 2. Only cost 7 million euro.

Is Zarate 3x better? Again being an Inter player does not = better player.

No offence mate, just seemed like a right thing to do :D
