Leo has been quoted saying "I can't talk right now" :p I guess it's all over. We should expect an official statement of Leo's sacking sooner than we thought. PPl suggesting Villas Boas, get real! He has a 15ml buy out clause and for sure is staying with Porto for atleast another season.

If management isn't willing to pay $15 million for Villas Boas...then they aren't serious about winning....period.

We're being careful with buying players, I don't think Moratti will pay this much for a coach. Looks like Bielsa is Moratti's man but what do you guys think of his 3-3-1-3?!

We can try to negotiate to exchange VB with Muntari perhaps?

3-3-1-3 will die in Serie A imo. We don't have the component to support that formation. and most serie a teams play 4-4-2 which exploit flanks.

relax guys bielsa is not going to play 3313 when he comes to inter. the guy is a genius, he is like a younger version of hiddink. he will have to adapt to the serie a just as mourinho did. if he comes i hope he stays there for 5 year or so and makes it his main project. this guy could be the right coach for inter!

Actually the 3-3-1-3 exploits exploits the flanks too, but this is not the reason he would fail.... There are many many others.

Bielsa is an interesting option, but it's okay only if he

1) Gets MAX 2 years (preferably only 1, but not likely any coach would accept that)
2) doesn't get that much salary so that it isn't expensive to buy him out after the season

B'bye Leo!

You pay any price for a great coach when winning is a priority.

Winning isn't guaranteed too. So it's better to not risk it when a club is working on achieving a healthy balance sheet for the upcoming FFP.

Moratti speaks on sidelines of industry conference
Wednesday, 15 June 2011 14:21:08 permalink
ROME - (ANSA) "I think contact has been made with Bielsa but not by me," Inter president Massimo Moratti declared on the sidelines of the Italian Oil Union (Unione Petrolifera) meeting currently taking place in Rome. Regarding Leonardo, Moratti said that "he has put a lot of effort and passion into being a coach but it certainly isn't what he aspires to do in the future. The best thing is that he follows his aspiration and that we look for a new coach." However, the president concluded by saying that "Leonardo might change his mind and perhaps we will too."

Wow, I thought it was all bullshit, turns out this thing may be real after all?

With all due respect though, Marcelo fucking Bielsa? The guy who couldn't even qualify from the group stage with Argentina in 2002? What has he done since? :palm:

AVB please!
