Eh? Yet another operation only in October? I thought he injured himself this year's spring and would have been operated already. Or is it some second operation which is required anyway? (don't know medical stuff hardly at all)

The plan was always 2 operations I believe. They announced back in April that he'd have the 1st operation then, then he'd need another 4 months or so of recuperation before he could have the 2nd operation. From now, it'll be another 6 months before he returns. And who knows what kind of player he'll be at that point.

As such, I've had 14 surgeries (both major and minor) on my right leg. Name any surgery that footballers have on their knees, I've probably done it twice. Arthroscopic procedures, Ilizarov, osteotomy, full knee reconstructions, bitch I'm Thiago Motta x Ronaldo to the power of Kerlon. Rossi will not be the same. Any player who gets a recurring injury post-surgery isn't unlucky, it's normal, almost to be expected. Anyone who doesn't have a recurring injury is LUCKY.

I have a friend in the same boat. Tore his knee ligaments to shreds on 3 separate occasions over a 4-5 year span and has had multiple operations/surgeries. Quit playing after the 3rd.

Definitely not the same after the first instance let alone after a third. Also the mind fuck factor, played overlly cautious and was always afraid of entering a one-on-one and tackling.
