i'm assuming that its been said before and i also have to ask myself the question, why would he come to us? but, maybe just maybe Diego Simeone could do something for us.

I know la liga is a very open league and there aren't many strong teams out there but you have to say, he's keeping up with Real Madrid which is a good starting point.

Simeone? If we try hard enough he might come, but the odds are very low. But a few things can make it happen if we try hard:

-He likes Italian style and did great stabilizing Madrid's defense, so Inter would be a huge challenge for him.
-He has no chances winning anything big with Atletico Madrid as the league's top teams are too strong, unlike in Italy where the best team isn't much better than Atletico Madrid.
-Falcao might leave them next season, and I don't know how much they aim to really step forward.
-There was reported to be (Spain media) a special release clause when he signed his new contract this season, so Inter might have something to do with it.

We need a coach in summer during the transfer window, not now. Rushing to hire another coach right now might just make us repeat the same mistake we have done with Strama. Nothing to get out of this season anyway, so it's too late, although I would have agreed when we still had chances to get the 3rd place.

Only Aguirre managed to fix it for brief period of time, but the job Simeone has done is, dunno, magnificent. With our players and good defensive setup, we could have the best defense in Serie A. Also has experience in Serie A as player AND coach. And is not afraid to bench players once they start playing bad and are out of form.

All in all, perfect for us.
