Kovacic doesn't need a mentor. He is doing pretty good himself.

I hate all this mentor business, if a player is good enough he will make it. And what good have all mentors in the squad (Zanetti, Cambiasso, Materazzi, Cordoba, Stankovic...) done? In fact most of the younger players are doing worse under their mentorship. Jonathan, Alvarez, Kuzmanovic, Ranocchia are all surely capable of better things than what they have shown. Do you blame them, or their mentors for it?

Too perfect to be true, why would Modric go to a team that doesnt play in Europe? And why would Real want sell him in the first place? He is doing pretty fine in his first season. Not happening. The rumor of Di Maria looks more likely but still dont want to get my hopes up.

He's much preferred to play with the champions in Inter. Same goes for Di Maria, but there's also the reason of his interest in the Argentine clan that dominates the team here.

Great thinking. Real wants to sell Di Maria and Higuain, we need attackers, and we want Modric while we have Kovacic. And don't forget Sahin, that still belong to Real and doesn't play a lot in BVB, so he's also a player we can get.

But let's try Modric. If we can't get him, we will try Oscar or Kroos.

And Messi growing up around T. Henry, Ronaldinho, and Eto'o had no impact on his development?

I doubt Modric would come here, I'm 99.9% sure he'll stay at Madrid. And if he leaves he'd go some place like Man Utd or Chelsea.

He will come running back to Tottenham or go to Man City. He isn't going to go to Italy especially to a team not even in Europe. In December Cordoba was asked about Falcao and he said he is a player Inter would love. Doesn't mean we will buy him or he'd ever accept coming here.

Inter isn't a top team so we should end these FIFA or PES transfer dreams of bringing in the best 11 players.
