Given our current situation, I would not sign any striker/forward. I would tell Mazzarri to train & play Icardi & Belfodil - that's his job after all and our season is DONE anyway.

But if we really really are desperate to find a replacement for Milito now, while we still have him, in order to avoid clubs asking for outrageous prices in summer only because we are in need, out of the names mentioned so far I would go for Osvaldo. Italo-argentine forward department is a tradition here No more half-assed solutions, time has proven that they are sooooo wrong!

Honestly - if Lazio or Udinese bought Gomis, would you laugh at them? No, you wouldn't. And let's face it - that is currently our level. We cannot battle for the top club rejects like Dzeko, Jovetic, Morata, Ba, Hernandez. They will go to stronger EPL or Bundesliga clubs or perhaps Juve/Napoli.

Gomis is a very solid attacker and could do exceedingly well here for a couple of seasons. On a free transfer he would be a steal and add much needed physicality to our attack. Icardi could possibly deliver the same in time, but Gomis is clearly better right now.

He's 180, that's 3cm more than Falcao and 3 cm less than Milito. Wouldn't say short.

He isnt short but never wins a header... thats not what Inter need... he is not even a starter in Benfica!
