Most coaches have their questionable "pet" players that they always seem to pick with less than good reasoning. Giaccherini is going to be a NT player until Prandelli is no longer around.


I'm more perplexed at Gilardino over Osvaldo and Astori over Ogbonna and to a lesser extend Rano.

I know I'm living in the past, but I would prefer Di Natale or Cassano as a spark plug as substitutes over Gilardino's 30 year old corpse.

Osvaldo went on a bitch-fest after only getting 15min playing time in the Coppa final. Insulting Andreazzoli in person & on twitter + skipping the medal ceremony = violating Prandelli code of ethics. Roma will sell him too most likely.

I agree about Di Natale, he's older but way better than Gila. I don't think Astori is better than Rano either.
