So, the rumours now say that Inter and Milan might have a gentleman agreement, where the two clubs won't interfere each other for the signings of Kondogbia and Imbula (the two clubs to sign one or the other). It is not a bad thing to have gentleman agreement in these kinda deals but it is equally important to get the right player for the team as well. Kondogbia is more talked about, having proven his worth in the Champs League and is pricey, where as Imbala didn't even participate in the Europa League.

I just hope that we sign the right player. Sometimes, we should learn to spend a bit more to get the right player. Both are young players and will be a bit gamble but then again, it is always a risk with signing players - with different formations/coaches/teams/leagues/form/etc.

That sounds incredibly stupid. I mean it's brilliant if they can arrange such a thing with themselves. But if it leaks out, it's pure idiocy. To tell everyone that "hey we have this type of deal so suck it guys, we're not gonna inflate the prices for each other!".

I do not think that we are serious about Kondogbia, because of Monaco's 30 mln demand and his super -duper wage.

That could very well be the case. Perhaps both U.S. and Milan were scared off by Kongdogbia's price and wage demands. I personally am just pulling for Kongdogbia because I think he's the superior player.

Kondogbia did spend 1/3 of the season sitting on the bench. That is not something a worldclass player would do.

Kondogbia reminds me of some other "beasts" from french league: Yann M'Vila, Ciani and Taiwo. All of them beasting the french league, flopping in Italy.

I think its because we're all afraid of how other big transfers have worked out, and knowing our club doesn't have much money we really can't afford to sign players who could flop. Signing player has made us all nervous wrecks
