imagine a offesive 3421 with Correa/Hakan Sanchez and Lautaro. The good thing is that Correa and Sanchez can both play behind the striker, while Lautaro can play striker+supporting striker. We have some more options now.
Samir Handanovic (Ionut Radu)
Milan Skriniar(Danilo D'Ambrosio) Stefan de Vrij(Andrea Ranocchia) Alessandro Bastoni(Aleksandar Kolarov)
Denzel Dumfries (Matteo Darmian) Federico Dimarco(Ivan Perisic)
Nicolò Barella(Nahitan Nández) Marcelo Brozovic(Roberto Gagliardini)
Hakan Calhanoglu(Stefano Sensi) Joaquin Correa(Alexis Sánchez)
Lautaro Martínez(Edin Džeko)

We don't need it then Matías Vecino and Martín Satriano

Whoever rates Isak has only watched him on YouTube. If Isak was so great Dortmund would have sold Haaland to City this summer and brought Isak back as his replacement. Instead they wanted to bring back Isak as a back up to Haaland but Isak wants to start.

In any case Isak has a 60-70M clause so we're better off with Vlahovic, a better player who knows the league.
I liked what I saw from Sociedad last season.

Also, we need two forwards.

I'd take Isak and Belotti. They can all rotate with Lautaro and Alexis.

Some seem to feel that Inzaghi's 3-5-2 variation will be a Conte replica where someone hoofs the ball towards Lukaku and if he doesn't lose it, it'll end up in a triangle between him Hakimi and Barella and worry that there's only Barella now.

It's not going to be like that. Play will be more involved from the middle if Inzaghi's 3-5-2 style is something stable.
Reason he's okay with guys like Correa is that they're mobile enough to receive through balls and skip defenders by themselves.

If Correa comes I assume we'd switch to a 3421? Basically 2 of Hakan, Correa, Sanchez, and Sensi behind Lautaro or Dzeko.

I already hate it. That attack looks nuked to fuck and we all know how Brozovic and Barella do as pivots.

They could at least try to fool us into thinking there's a chance we might improve. We've basically just put ourselves into the race for top4 with this window.

More like race to the Europa League. This season is going to be a disaster.

Juve with Conte won the league playing with Matri and Vucinic. The forwards are not everything if the rest of the team is good. And i think the only thing that really is missing is a good RWB. I hope Dummfries can be good, even if everyone is saying he's shit..

Romano (Sky) is saying that Dzeko is close, while it's still not over for Zapata. No contacts for Vlhaovic, according to him they would refuse a 60M offer. The names are Zapata Correa and Scamacca, but there could be still a suprise in the list.

Why the Correa hate? He's a talented player that would have way more talent around him on our squad than on Lazio. Another Rube killer. Bring him on!

I don't know. Probably because he reeks of our previous dull and uninspiring Argentinian names like Zarate, Ricky Alvarez, Kily Gonzalez, Solari, Guly Guglielminpietro, Mariano Gonzalez, Ruben fucking Botta, and the list goes on.

Why the hate? Because we are having a worse squad. No Eriksen, no Lukaku, no Hakimi and none of the players coming in are close to the level we had.

@tonyclifton sorry I'm nitpicking and I get the point, bit I need to add Solari was big talent, unlike Ricky Alvarez et al. He had a lot of troubles iirc, but what I'm sure of he doesn't belong in that group imo
