for me that i have sud italian/napoli origin, it would be too funny to see him at Inter. Sure he's not a bad player too, better then Correa or a 40M Zapata. But it would be really strange. Napoli fans will be really mad and probably also sad. Like Messi leaving Barca, same feeling for them. So many years a club legend, for a fan it's tragic.
I honestly can't imagine that it will happen, but i really hope it. For him it's probably the last train if he want's to play for a top club (and trying to win something.. maybe.)

Why Napoli will want Sanchez at all? Or we'll continue to pay half of his salary?
That would be the only reason. Insigne hasn't signed a new contract because of his demands, captain of the club, born and raised Neapolitan but Sanchez who is more injured than matchfit they would pay him the same salary as Inter does?

According to Biasin, Inter directors like Insigne a lot but at the moment they're looking for a different type of forward. As for Sanchez, he isn't on the market.

Insigne would be great if we plan to play with 3 forwards. In a 2 striker formation, he could be a bit limiting physically.

That said, he scored 19 goals last season, adds good creativity in the final third that we are sometimes missing, is 2 years younger to Sanchez, and doesn't travel to Chile regularly to get injured. Insigne will be highly motivated, at least until the World Cup next year. So this would be a good deal.

LOL at fans here disappointed by the link to Insigne. The kind of shitty summer we are having, Insigne looks like a knight in shining armour. Unfortunately I can't see Napoli accepting Sanchez plus money for their beloved captain. This is a deal I don't think even Marotta can pull off.

This smells more like Marotta being annoying towards Lotito. Lazio have also been linked with Insigne (Sarri and all that), they need to sell to actually make an offer, and they’re being dicks about the Correa price.

Ergo, we cut out the middle man and go after Insigne, either to put pressure on Lotito or to screw him out of his choice signing.

According to Romano, at the moment Insigne is just an idea because of his contract situation. Other names on Inter's list are Zapata, Correa, Scamacca and Jovic but none of these players is close to Inter today.

Let's get Jovic and we are very well set. I would be very satisfied with our mercato in that case.

He was an option we considered when Icardi was leaving, as a Dybala alternative.
Obviously didn't happen, but the interest for certain players from Inter management has always been there, Insigne being one of them, Milinkovic-Savic, Barella formerly, Chiesa and a couple of others.
Just the typical radar of top domestic players or talents.

Let’s just take our sweet time as if the season doesn’t start in a week.
