what i said was it is bad desision to ask players or even coach when it does not make sense to get player. coutinho was out of inter not because he was not good but because old guard did not like him taking a spot. now correa what if there is player we can get that is better then him or we have to get rid of better player that in few years will be sold for 100 million just because player like the correa or coach . and old guard from 2011 is responsible for inter finance 300 million lost in 6 years is more then enought for thohir to stay or these guy not having to be in this situations

Rather take Raspadori, no?

berardi should be the better signing short term - e.g. of the two, all things being equal, i personally would have more confidence in berardi scoring goals. If they're the same price, I'd rather Raspadori.

Ideally, both.

If you sign Berardi, you need to switch to 3-4-3. When Sassuolo were playing with 3-5-2 Berardi was badly underperforming. Instead he returned to his old self when they hired De Zerbi and returned back to 4-3-3. Besides, Carnevalli said it's too late to sell Berardi now.

dunno. I think Berardi could fulfill some of Lukaku's role - like, between the CB and opponent's LB. So its not an out and out RW as you'd probably have in a 3-4-3, but its not a million miles away.

Biasin is saying that if Lazio dont accept the offer (30M), one of the alternatives is Belotti, who would cost 20M.

Thats actually not bad.

Imo, the 2 strikers formation could be ideal for Belotti and taking costs and numbers into consideration, Belotti is by far our best option. Correa is a good player but signing him means to take a risk because of his lack of numbers. Belotti scored 10+ in each season since 2015/16, Serie A proven and never played with players such as Dzeko, Toro, Hakan, Barella and etc, which could take him to higher levels. He can score 20+ in Serie A.

I tend to agree. Belotti would be a more natural fit with both Dzeko and Lautaro. And as you say he is a pure scorer. I can see him with us going for 20+ goals per season. Not to mention that next year with Raspardori would be an excellent fit.

I mean when I was saying Berardi and Belotti on cheap would be great for us I was ridiculed, but now that people see how good Džeko and Hakan are doing, they are probably up for it. I'd like a Raspadori type and Keita Balde if it came cheaper, but the B&B option is good too

Looking at the strikers we are linked to and the costs, like I was saying before, I wish we had gone for Tammy Abraham. He is young with a high ceiling and already better than some of the strikers we are linked to.

Belotti 🤮

I dont get what the beef with Belotti is? He's got a pretty deecnt record at a shit team. For the price, we could do a lot worse/riskier.

27 years old, consistently scores goals, his Torino stat of 230 games, 106 goals, 26 assists is pretty good considering he plays for a shithole of a team

He's not really that similar to Džeko, neither to Lautaro, but at least we'd have a real CF ready, like ionno, Pazzini, just hopefully good for a longer time than Pazzini was

Urbano Cairo wants to extend contract with Belotti and I bet he won't sell him for 20 mln euro.

Belotti is fine, but I think Inzaghi wants a striker who can dribble and beat defenders in 1 vs 1 duels. Belotti is way different profile than Thuram and Correa, so I guess it is just a smokescreen for Lotito to accept the offer.

I wouldn't mind Belotti. We are focusing on the replacement of Lukaku... but there are only few names who could replace him. We should look at diversification of goals... looking for those who can contribute to this team when Dzeko, Sanchez is injured... Inzaghi's flexibility in tactics can help as well. We do not need to depend on two starting strikers, we could use players based on their actual form.

Tbh i wouldn't mind Belotti. Perhaps Inzaghi could revive him.
I just checked, he hasn't socred more than 10+ goals in open play in 4 seasons.

You wouldn't take Belotti based on his current form. You would take him as a gamble in the hope Inzaghi could revive his career and help him regain the form of past seasons like he did with Immobile. Getting Belotti for 20m would be better than spending 35m on Correa simply because he has a higher ceiling than Correa.
