I tend to agree. Belotti would be a more natural fit with both Dzeko and Lautaro. And as you say he is a pure scorer. I can see him with us going for 20+ goals per season. Not to mention that next year with Raspardori would be an excellent fit.Imo, the 2 strikers formation could be ideal for Belotti and taking costs and numbers into consideration, Belotti is by far our best option. Correa is a good player but signing him means to take a risk because of his lack of numbers. Belotti scored 10+ in each season since 2015/16, Serie A proven and never played with players such as Dzeko, Toro, Hakan, Barella and etc. He can score 20+ in Serie A.
I just checked, he hasn't socred more than 10+ goals in open play in 4 seasons.Tbh i wouldn't mind Belotti. Perhaps Inzaghi could revive him.
You wouldn't take Belotti based on his current form. You would take him as a gamble in the hope Inzaghi could revive his career and help him regain the form of past seasons like he did with Immobile. Getting Belotti for 20m would be better than spending 35m on Correa simply because he has a higher ceiling than Correa.I just checked, he hasn't socred more than 10+ goals in open play in 4 seasons.
