Oh, Repubblica says Di Maria has been offered to us. Supposedly we’ve acknowledged it, but have not plans to move forward with it as of yet.

Sanchez replacement? I don’t know. I think he’s a bit of a baller, still plays really well when I watch him at PSG, but that’s just UCL nights mostly.

i have a crazy suggestion, Ousmane Dembele:einstein::einstein:
Wants 20M€ net and 30M€ signing fee. Paying this for a player , who is injured more than playing, hell no. Its a risky deal and thats why there's not many suitors floating around. Only P$G

And the red flags about Dembele don't end there. Even when he's fit he's inconsistent and he has a long history of discipline problems.

You have to be crazy to invest serious money on Dembele.

I hope Inter sign Di Maria and Alvarez.
Inter is the best place for Argentina player.
You will get help from Lautaro and Correa. Plus Zanetti. Then you can walking around in Milan, one of the most beautiful city in the world.
There is so many legend from Argentine play for Inter. Cambiasso, Milito, and Zanetti must be endorse many player from Argentina to play for Inter.

The only more attractive team than us for Argentina is PSG, the reason must be Messi of course.

btw I've read a nice article about Julian Alvarez some time ago:

tbh he's not my favourite profile, I would prefer us to buy someone similar to Dzeko.

This article touches on a lot of my concerns with someone like Alvarez. He is kind of like another Lautaro. He is a #9 but a short one, he doesn’t have any significant physical attributes (speed/strength), he also doesn’t look like a special dribbler or finisher.

Someone like Scamacca or Jonathan David at least bring bring something in terms of their physical attributes. However then I question if we’re getting the most out of Lautaro because I really don’t think his strength is dropping deep between the lines to connect play. It’s not a coincidence we look better when Sanchez or Correa are in the line up helping keep fluidity in our ball movement.

Can someone explain to me what’s so special about Julian Alvarez other than his numbers in an inferior league? Doesn’t look particularly exciting from YouTube clips.

He's an intelligent player. His movement and decision making are good. He's a decent finisher and despite what people call him as pure #9 he has played in several positions as winger, second striker or even midfielder before being established as a CF.

He might not have a "special" trait yet, but he's a well rounded striker and he's still has room to become a better player.

Isn't that the same issue as Lautaro though?

I think this season has proven Lautaro is not yet ready to lead the line, or doesn't have the characteristics. Even a severely past-prime Dzeko offers a significantly better point of reference for our attack. Hypothetically there's no reason we can't play with two "9-and-a-half" forwards, but realistically Inzaghi seems to want that prima punta.

Lingard is shit. Nobody needs him. even Newcastle.

Lingard was awesome on loan to West Ham last season - 9 goals and 5 assists in 16 games. Man Utd are a broken club these days, we already know that their flops can be great in a more positive environment. I wouldn't mind Lingard on a free to help rotate Hakan & Barella.

Re the forward buy, I am on the Scamacca boat. We need someone to lead the line, a younger "Dzeko". No more support strikers pls, we have enough already.

Don't have one.
What's the logic behind the possible alvarez deal. Satriano somewhere on loan and this kid in? We already have four capable forwards, none of them are useless, so giving 20 mil for this kid seems like an overkill right now.

Only logical thing is if we are booking him for summer.

imo if we want someone from MaNu, i suggest bring one from Van de Beek or Telles or Fred, at least they can understand our tactics better than Lingard.
