So we are rumored to Raspadori and Gudmundsson. Both are not cheap players. Not Zirkzee level but still quite expensive for us.

They are wondering if it's Frattesi style deal for Gudmundsson. I suppose it's not easy to get Raspadori from ADL after Zielinski affair. :D

Maybe those are just a smokescreen targets. Raspadori doesn't develop so impressive and I wouldn't pay more than 15mln for him, and Gudmunson looks expensive for 10 goals at age of 26.

I have a hard time believing we’re gonna spend 40 million on a fourth striker.

I hope the idea is for 3rd striker as none of Taremi, Correa and Arnautovic should be more than a 4th striker.

10 goals to me is pretty impressive given he has 600 minutes of Serie A experience before this season (last season was obv Serie B where he scored 11 goals). Now he's their bonafide, key player. Before playing for Genoa he played at Eredivisie (Alkmaar).

It's international break. I wouldn't read much into these rumors.

Gudmundsson rumor originates from already two months back. Fabio Bergomi tweeted that back then. It seems like he has some connections to somewhere, since he's been spot on way early before on some cases.

Fabio Bergomi spot on. Now i have heard it all.

In 2022 he had said Inter would sell Barella and Lautaro.

In 2023 he had said Conte would return to Inter bench.

And let's not even mention the countless times he had predicted PIF would buy Inter.

Would love Raspa but I admittedly have some Italian bias. But another interista is always a plus. Couldn't see us offering a cent more than 25mil however.

I think Pasquale Guarro originally mentioned that Inter want a new striker in addition to Taremi and 'in place' of Arnautovic (or Arna as a 5th option). How feasible that is, I have no idea but it does make sense to go with 5 strikers given additional games (although a low-cost option always seemed more likely in this case).

I don't particularly buy the Zirkzee/Raspadori links though. I think both players would be far too expensive.

Gudmundsson does seem more realistic though, simply because Genoa would be more willing to accept counterparts in the deal as opposed to Napoli or Bologna who may make CL.

I do like him as a player - he has characteristics we seriously lack.

Take it easy my man. You can wait for Romano the tap-in artist to tell you what's gonna happen when is the right time.

However I'm gonna enjoy Bergomi's hot takes. He mentioned Gudmundsson two months ago, and now Gudmundsson is on the Inter rumors

I agree that Raspa, let alone Zirkzee are more unrealistic. Raspa for who he's playing for and Zirkzee for the price.

Only thing I'm worried about is if this is just a preparation for the case a good enough offer arrives to take Thuram away from us. So that we have some targets in that case and basic ground work done with the agents of these possible targets.

I am taking it pretty easy. If you want to trust his words it's up to you. But don't try to portray him as someone reliable who's spot on many cases.

It's not the question who is better, but the parameters of the deal. He has a long contract and Lotito won't sell cheap. And Ciro is 34 years old, visibly declined in last two seasons.
Everything over 10mln transfer fee and 3-4 mln salary is idiotic.
I dont disagree with that.

I meant in the context if free and available. Ciro would probably be a better choice than both of them. But being his contract finishes in 2026 then yes, you are right. Fuck him.

Stop talking about buying a forward, we still have our standard minus 60mln for transfers, we can only take very cheap or free players.

Raspadori would've been a cool acquisition. Ideally, I'd love someone of bigger size and strength, but Raspa would be so nice too. Love his technical ability. Then again, Taremi is almost signed (been "here we go" for a while now), so having him and Raspa instead of Arna and Alexis would be an instant upgrade IMO.

Make no mistake, I'd prefer players op higher status, but this is what Inter can sign these days, and I'm fine with it, as long as we don't have to sacrifice our key players.

Don't have one.
I don't know why the fuck people want raspadori. He seems slightly above average to me, maybe gives us a little bit more than what sanchez is giving us, but that's about it. Still not good enough. His stats in the last two years are nowhere near good enough, and even before that they were decent but nothing special.

Considering that there were rumors about Inter rejecting 20-25 mln bid for Carboni, I think that everything above Carboni + 10mln is excessive for me. His buyback option should be valid at least 2 seasons, and to be reasonable for us.
Otherwise it seems bad deal for us. Carboni looks much more promising than how Gudmunson looked at 18.
