I don't blame Ausilio nor do I give him credit these days. Thats coz Marotta is in charge of our transfer strategy. Which member of his team does what is Marotta's responsibility. So I blame Marotta for Lazaro and credit him for Hakimi, even if Ausilio may have done both those deals. Ausilio can only be as good or as bad as Marotta allows him to be.

i agree with the principle of responsibility but it also has to be said that realistically, the fortunes of those who are in charge often depend to a good extent on the quality of the work of their subordinates.
