Adriano Will Return - Moratti
Inter president Massimo Moratti insists that Adriano will return to the Nerazzurri.
The striker was sent out on loan to Brazilian side Sao Paulo during last season and he has enjoyed a successful return to form with the Paulista Championship side.
Reports have suggested that new coach Jose Mourinho is not too keen on the player’s return to San Siro but Moratti is adamant that L’Imperatore will come back.
“Adriano will return to Inter,” Moratti told ANSA.
“He is a great player and he will come back, no doubt about it.”
Moratti then had a few words for Roma prodigy Alberto Aquilani who has attracted the attention of several sides but the chief was quiet over any possible move for the player.
“Aquilani is a player that every club is interested in but like I said before, we will not be going crazy in the transfer market,” concluded Moratti.
Inter have won three Serie A titles on the bounce but everyone knows that Moratti wants the Champions League and Mourinho is the man entrusted with the mission to bring it to San Siro.
