Oh I can't deci
Sure this may be a touchy subject, but I firmly believe this is the best striker duo Inter has to offer. Not taking anything away from Vieri, Martins and the rest, I just feel that these 2 have the best understanding and truly compliment each other well.

I for one would love it if Zac makes this lineup a certainty next season. Only question in my mind is who will take the free kicks since they are both so damn good at it!!

FORZA ADRIANO!!
FORZA CHINITO!!

MORE IMPORTANTLY.....FORZA INTER!!

I believe, based on per 90 minutes, the duet of Adriano - Recoba is the deadliest this season. At the beginning of January, both of them destroyed Siena when they score twice each. The very next match, Chino assisted 2 of Adriano's goals against Juve. And they end the season by scoring 2 times against Empoli (Chino wasn't on when Adri scored his first goal.)

I don't know if they are the best though. Seriously, although Chino has been very consistent this season, I'm still not convinced that he will be consistent next season. IMO, only time will tell. But if I were Zac, I'd rather try out this duo compared to Vieri - Adriano. Mostly because of 3 reasons.

First, they have proven in this season that they can co-exist. Second, Vieri is more similar to Adriano compared to Recoba. Although Adriano doesn't need the midfeild that much, he can't be played as a support striker to support Vieri. Third, is the age issue. Vieri is 31 now and Recoba is 28. Needless to say, it'll be wiser to build around Recoba - Adriano rather than Vieri - Adriano. The former, looks to be able to last longer.

But, I'm not discounting the possibilitied of all 3 of them on the field. :D If i'm not wrong; we used Vieri, Recoba and Oba against Benfica in San Siro and we scored 4 goals. But we conceeded 3. :D

I totally agree that this is the best duo since they first played...I was a harsh critic of Recoba last year but i am extremely impressed with him this year.Plus the understanding between them is undeniable even the joy they have when celebrating together one of their goals...
Recoba however has complimented every striker very well this year and I just hope his good form continues even without the injuries in between.

Yeah, Recoba-Adriano seems to be great. Reminds me of the time Yorke-Cole played for ManUtd in 99/00 when they won the treble. Both compliments each other. And i guess left-footers understand each other better huh? What's more ElChino and Adi can both take freekicks!Amazing! That really leaves Bobo out in the cold and I'd say however that for the sake of Inter, nevermind that..hehe...And if Adi is ever loaned out again (ie Fiorentina ;) ) then Bobo'll get games.Either that or Bobo has to pray that either one of them gets injured... :dielaugh:

Adriano - Recoba should be a perfect pair....

two deadly frontmen with different characteristics..

we never have doubt on adriano, but we do on recoba..
recoba need to work to get less injury, this way he can provide with consistency...

If Recoba can be on his top form, he should be one of the deadliest striker in the world..

my only concern for the next season is whether he can maintain his physical fitness

We have to unearth Recoba's potentials now. We all know what this guy can do but it's hasn't worked for him since his first explosive start. As one mentioned, he is 28 and this is his peak period. He should be ahead in the pecking order because he has improved greatly and showed consistency at last.

But then, can we have a $5M striker in Vieri warming our bench??? If we do the sensible and designate Adriano -- Chino as our primer striking partnership then we have to sell Vieri unless he takes a huge pay cut. Sorry for Vieri but this is what it is coming down to.

Adriano-Chino

that could be great future. Chino has finally been what we hae waited for so long. If inter decides to take them as main strikers, Bobo should go. There's no sense keeping him on the bench. This is difficult issue, but I really hope these two will be our main strikers.

Adriano has Vieri doubt Wednesday 19 May, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adriano has expressed doubts that he and Christian Vieri can co-exist in the same Inter side.

Boss Alberto Zaccheroni already had his own concerns this season and now the Brazilian is also not too sure.

"It won’t be easy to play alongside Vieri," said the former Parma striker. "Our characteristics are very similar. We are going to have to work very hard on our partnership."

Vieri has always insisted that he and the young South American could play in the same team without any problems.

However, Zac didn’t feel that was the case and he very rarely played the two men together in the last campaign.

That has led to speculation that Vieri could be on his way out of the club after the 2004 European Championships.

Although the player claims he is staying with the Nerazzurri, he is still being linked with moves to Juventus, Roma and Chelsea

It's def Bobo or Adriano. We can't bench neither so Bobo maybe won't stay afterall. Adriano-Chino is the future..

Glad to hear that, someone must speak the truth and not fool everyone by saying:"we have lots of champions here.......Vieri and Adriano are two champions and they can coexist.....blah blah blah" I was really getting tired of these comments.

Adriano and Vieri can't coexist, period.

IMO, Vieri and Adriano can co-exist. It just depend on the midfield. If they can do a great job, I'm sure 2 strikers can exist. Look at Yorke & Cole. They are strikers who can't create for themselves. But the Man Utd midfield of Giggs - Keane - Scholes - Beckham were outstanding so they can co-exist.

And speaking of left-footers, 10 bucks we have the deadliest left-footed players in the world. Recoba, Adriano, Martins, Kily and Vieri. Now who can beat them??? :D
