Well to be fair he plays in Uruguay and even if i don t know the league i doubt the quality and intensity is very high and remembering how fucking talented Recoba was it s not rally a suprise that he can still keep up at 38 in a not so competitive league.

I didn't watch any games of Uruguayan league, but I can say that the uruguayan teams playing the current Copa Libertadores are pure sh*t. Peñarol and Nacional didn't even make it to the group stage.
But that doesn't mean that scoring a corner goal in Uruguay is easier than in any other league of the world, so good for him!!

FIF would have said he had a bad game apart from the two goals. He lost too many balls due to selfish dribbles.

One of the biggest enigmas to wear an Inter shirt in the last 25 years.

Kovacic is comparable though he hasn't shown the talent that Recoba had and plus he's not as injury prone but I do consider Kova to be an enigma.

Alvaro retires today, one of my all time best players, one of the main reasons I loved Inter and got attached to the team more.

Thank you Recoba for the good times, and sorry you wernt so lucky with Inter, you are a true magician and one of a kind, for me you are a true Inter legend, thank you for the good moments and sorry for the countless bad ones, you deserved better, but this is Inter, life can be unfair most of the time here.

i still remember his embrace with zanetti and simeone after his first magical goal vs brescia on his club debut. that was the beginning of the asado clan. :proud:

recoba may be emblematic of a lot of the things that were wrong with this club, but he showed a lot of affection for the jersey later on and you have to respect that. i remember in an interview he said if he had the opportunity to go back to 1997, he would have done everything so differently.

his left foot was one of the best in the history of football and he was so crazy to watch when he was fit and motivated. how many goals from the corner has he scored in his career? too many to count. Forza Chino.

He alongside Adriano were two wasted talents of Inter who had the potential to win Golden Ball.

Good luck grande Chino!

"Great to come back here after so long. Thanks for the wonderful welcome. "It's been great coming back to Milan after so long. I didn't expect to be given such a wonderful welcome at the stadium the other Sunday. I got quite emotional because I hadn't been back here for years. It was so nice to get all that from the fans. Thank you, everyone."

I love you elcino :proud:
