Yeah but Onana brings more than just goalkeeping in our game. I think the team feels more confident with him on goal, he seems to be more communicative with teammates and of course his ball-playing ability is amazing. I'd say he is the best in this aspect.

If we end up lifting the CL trophy, Onana wins player of the tournament. I think he’s our most crucial player going into the final.

I wouldn't say that his goalkeeping abilities/saves are as sharp as Maignan's are (but still pretty good), but he does look like he commands defence so that the right thing happens and really has immaculate passing ability. He is basically our counterattacking goalkeeper, constantly trying to set the team to attack.

I can't emphasize enough the quality and the importance of his save against Diaz. He had to move from near post and he somehow managed to save the shot to the far post. If he failed to save, no doubt it would devastate our mental and open the goal floodgate for merda.

Obviously he takes all the credit for that save but that was a pretty bad attempt by Brahim. The shot was rather weak and inaccurate. He's had all the opportunity of the world to score that, but his right foot isn't as dominant as left one. But then again, that was a crucial save and IMO as good as scoring a goal.

The fact that handa was our captain at the time probably played a big role.... On top of that Onana was starting in UCL from the get go, not like handa played every game for the first 3 months but i get it the Inzaghi is a shit manager has to live on somehow

You seem to have short term memory. What you said is literally more proof of what a shocking decision it was.

Onan crushes it in CL~~ Handa shits the bed in the league and Handa would still start the next league game. This lasted for 3 months. So many dropped points
