Apparently he is not an alternative to Dzeko, which I think most of us already know. Conte wants him because he offers something different from our other attackers. I think I know what that something different is...pace. Dzeko, Lautaro, and Politano are all pretty slow in a flat out sprint. In a counter attacking situation Rebic can be a game breaker because he can eliminate a player or two with his pace. Whether that worth the rumored price is certainly debatable. I wouldn’t mind bringing Keita back as an alternative if he’s cheaper.

I think he comes to replace politano which wouldn't be so bad in my opinion. Probably the scenario is we buy Rebic for 30+, fitore get half of that sum and pays us 15M + biraghi for Politano.

Don't really get this transfer at all unless we plan to convert him into a wingback. I suppose we would mostly use him as SS in a 3-5-2, but he doesn't offer us the goals that a more proven forward would. I can't see him being worth more than 20-25mil in that position, whereas we need a proper replacement for Icardi yesterday.
