I don't think he is going to ever flop really hard, because even if his skills let him down, his physicality and grit means that he always gives something to our cause. But he is obviously a 10 league goals a season player rather than 20.

yep.. he is simliar to Mandzukic in he's prime days. With the diffrence that Mandzukic made more goals. That's why i would like him for the bench or maybe in a 343, but not as starter in the 352

Rebic is nothing like Mandzukic, excep both being hard workers and croats. Mandzukic is better at pretty much everything. Heading, passing, has better technique, is much smarter and can score. The only thingRebic has over Mandzukic is raw pace, nothing else. Even their styles are totally different.

Rebic is quite good player actually, but huge troublemaker. I would go for him, but not for 40m. I would rather spent this on Kramaric, if we are going for a croat ST. Rebic natural position is LW anyway.

He sure has a temperament, but that doesn't make him a troublemaker. This temperament is responsible for his best and worst attributes. It makes him run and fight like crazy, tearing opponents, never giving up. It also makes him take loads of cards and confrontations with team mates is always a possibility. But he doesn’t come across as a spoiled kid with lofty ideas of his own importance. Just a driven guy.

His progress for the last two years has been great. He's on a right track and can only get better. Like him or not, he gives a lot to the teams he plays for, be it national team or Frankfurt.
