Keita & Candreva will fit like a glove to Ranieri's 4-4-2 formation. I'm looking forward to see their matches.

Loan plus option for Candreva = see Candreva in 1 years time with the same problem only he’s older.

We gotta be more ruthless with these deals and actually PERMANENTLY get rid of players we don’t need or want.

Marotta's contract will end in about 18 months. So all he has to do is to loan Candreva and the other aging players until his contract expires and they become China's problem not his. I don't understand how he gained a reputation at Juve as an efficient manager when he is clearly much worse than Ausilio.

I'm not sure if Samp will pay him 1.5mil/ year and Candreva will be convinced to go. Surely he has no place here anymore, but he's a stubborn bastard who can't stop knocking up his wife.

So now our options for WB positions are -

Hakimi, Young, Perisic. That is definitely not enough. Darmian and D'Ambrosio are not wingbacks. We will definitely have to sign one, and that's assuming Perisic stays.

I guess we don’t see that Greek kid as a real option? I’d happily sell Candreva and give that kid a chance before buying Darmian. Even if the kids not great D’Ambrosio is obviously serviceable in that position so we do have back up.

GdS: Candreva is in no hurry to decide his future, he wants to evaluate things because in addition to Genoa there is also Sampdoria. But the player’s favorite solution is Fiorentina who came forward a few days ago and are evaluating options.

Candreva is in the final year of his contract with Inter and an agreement between the Nerazzurri and Blucerchiati clubs has been reached over a €2.5 million deal for him.

Speaking to Sky, Sampdoria director Carlo Osti discussed the ongoing negotiation with Inter for Candreva.

“He is a highly demanded player and we like him. Although it’s not just us. If he leaves Inter, he will choose the best next team together with Pastorello (agent). We are waiting and we would be very happy if he decided to choose us.”

Antonio, fa caldo!

We still have Dalbert though. Due to the Corona and difficulties with even the simplest of operations it's possible he will stay. Even if Dalbert and Perisic will be benched for whatever reason, Young showed he is very capable as LWB and Hakimi on the right is no brainer.

Candreva's contract runs out next summer so you can call it loan fee or transfer fee, it's all the same.

I thought we’d at least get a bit more for him...
