Honestly a falling out with Cassano is a good thing for Inter in the long run. In fact perhaps the best thing that could have happened. If only it was a few months earlier, maybe we would have benched him for that young brazilian he was stealing minutes from. Seriously though, he was been important for us but we can't afford to extend the contract of a guy who is soon to be 31 with weight problems. Comeback from today would never have happened with Cassano on the field today...FACT.

Cassano's from the ghetto. Shit like this is going to happen once in a while.

I'm not worried about this situation at all.

Include him in the Icardi deal :derp:

he is a good, useful player, but this is the only time left we can capitalize on this, even if only for 2 millions or smth. he wants to end his career in Sampdoria, Icardi wants Inter.... no problemo.

i'd rather swap him than duncan at the moment, tbh.

10M+Cassano should be enough to get us both Obiang and Icardi, I'd heop. Maybe +3-5m in bonuses ontop too

no, I would like to capitalize on Cassano, to have Icardi. like a wildcard, or smth, that he comes to Inter in any case

There's nothing to capitalize. His market value doesn't reflect what his value is to our team therefore selling him would be a stupid decision.

At the moment I'd rather have 2 beer crates than Cassano.

He's idiot and will always be. Good for him that we were desperate. So he will play in EL while most clubs would have given him the shoe.

meh, i wouldnt go that far, but im not against swapping him at the end of the year. we need to rejuvenate, and handing out contract extensions to our plethora of 29-30+ year olds isnt going to help that.

aye ^^^^ i will not deny that he was better than Forlan/Zarate/some others, had impact from day one

but if I have to choose between Palacio or Cassano, I'd keep Palacio. We need to rejuvenate our attack most of all, the clock is ticking for the likes of Cassano and sadly, even Milito. Palacio still has at least 2 '15+ goals' seasons in him, I don't know if Cassano has two '30+ games' seasons in him

especially since Strama is playing him all the time, haha

well, I've said it a few times, I would rather we create 20 chances a game and score 1 of them, than create 1 and score 1. in that sense, i would actually rather cassano.

yeah, but we played without him today and also Palacio had an assist =)

I know that he is a genius, but we need new players, new young, fresh blood

other teams are scoring too, right? as far as I know, Inter haven't scored more than three goals this season in one game, at least not in SerieA.... the problem is the whole team, too many old players

With him on the pitch, Inter is more predictable. I think if he plays today, we won't turn around this match. Too lazy and too slow to fight with dynamic and fast Sicilians.

Cassano is a genius, and he's far from being the most predictable player on the planet.

I can't believe that some of you went totally against him since the first fuck up. He had a fight with the manager, he's fucked up, and he's being handled by the management. It's just ridiculous that he'll get praised so high for one good performance, and being considered a 0 the next day.

For me, I can see that he has certain skills our team lacks. He can be most useful when we are having a lot of possession against a small team or when we are trying to come back and we need someone to create something.

I'd rather keep for the next season:
Cassano - Palacio - Livaja - Icardi - A good striker (Lewandowski/Mandžukić I think one of them will leave Bundesliga)

You're quite optimistic...Mandzukic is playing his best season ever and Lewandowski is bound to sign for Bayern. That leaves only Mario Gomez available, but I doubt that Inter would be ready to splash 20 mil for him or that he would actually want to join us.

The question now is, how big of a "beef" Cassano and Strama have. Players and coaches don't have to be best friends, as long as the player performs well on the pitch. So far, Cassano has played well and it would be unfair to toss him out like he's garbage. In the long run however, it is best to cut him loose as soon as we get the chance, because a player that still hasn't learned anything at 31, is a menace that pulls the team down.
