*sigh*
and as I said when we first appointed him, one of his big untested quantites was whether or not he could manage the dressing room when things start to go south.

I think this is blown out of proportion by the media. They had a fight, Cassano has little punishment, and he will be back for EL, mark my words. They'll kiss and make up, dont worry.

I think the same. Biggest reason is, there is no way to suspend him, if we want to keep playing till the end of the season.
Media makes it a big deal, because we are struggling, Cassano is Fantantonio and Strama is in the focus. That all, combined with some attitude in training makes a good deal.

There is only one thing i'm a bit worried about. Under normal circumstances, a coach shouldn't, but can be into some pushing. Look at the "Mancini-Balo" thing some weeks ago. It was the same and manicini made clear who is boss (although he can't push him). Mancini has not lost his standing to that case.
Strama already seems to struggle some times. Cassano for sure isn't the one commanding the squad. He's loud, but not the one who counts. So the point is, whatever that argument was about, how do the other players that count judge it. If its something between Strama and Cassano, Moratti give him some backup and we are fine.
But if it is above that two person thing, i hope he still got the backup from the argentine Connection and Stankovic with his gang. We always had a strong locker room. Erverything needed, but making Strama a harder time he already has.

But i hope and think, veterans are behind him.

Strama on Cassano at press conference (inter.it)

"It's my decision and no, he hasn't been suspended. What happened yesterday is nothing out of the ordinary, it was just an argument. The people who reported it don't have Inter's best interests at heart because things like that should be kept within the dressing room. It was just an argument; there was no contact. I am annoyed that it's been reported publicly because what goes on in the dressing room is sacred. I might have seen 30,000 similar situations before now. Besides anything else, Cassano is one of the players who has played more than most over the last seven matches. It's simply a decision I've taken and I don't want this to turn into a press conference about Cassano now."
[...] "I'll reply by telling you the facts: if he had been suspended then he wouldn't have trained today. It's my choice not to include him in the squad but on Monday he'll train with us as normal and, touch wood, if nothing happens to him between now and Thursday he'll be among the 18 in London."

There isn't a manager who was never lost dressing room once or twice, at least with one player.

I cant think of Mourinho ever having a publicized argument at Inter, let alone supposedly (though probably not true) coming to blows with them.

Not reported doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Fergie with probably with best man management skills almost exchanged punches with Schmeichel. Not to state the obvious Fergie was shit scared. Same with Beckham.

Every manager does it, but it remains in dressing room. Shame, this one was published and tough luck for Strama.

Yes, I never said that was not true...

What it boils down to is:
1 - Is it a permanent fracture or is it something they both can drop
2 - Did Stram do anything during that fight which lost the respect of other players at Inter
3 - Did Cassano openly show some sort of big defiance to Strama, or was it a smaller thing?

Like Pajo said, they will get on with it. I don't see this as bigger problem. Looks like the reports are exaggerated, like everytime by the media.

Hopefully, but until I know what the fight was over (which we probably wont ever find out), I'm going to be cautious.

We'll never know tbh... I share your concerns, but i don't think it's that big. After all, it all begun with talking that escalated, and we know cassano is impulsive.

Thats the point. Not the argument for itself, but that it becomes public on direct way. So there is somebody in the bigger around the team, who doesn't keep his mouth shot.

Situation is: Very likely we don't make CL second time in a row. We still not making process on getting a break in the team. We are totally out of strikers, because of weak squad-planing. We lost some games in very bad way of playing and Strama already got on the radar of critics.
So waht we now need is some concentration and maybe heat in training to get as much succes as wen can. And hen there is high intensity, there may be some arguments. That is normal as it is.

But we got far enough shit araound, as if we would need to bring some training arguments to the media, let em look us more stupid than we already do. And we don't need Strama under fire for reasons outside tactical decisions. So, liking Cassano or not, he got the ass that has to be kicked for making trouble at a time we can't take it. That doesn't mean suspension, but "shut up and do waht you paid for". No need for any of this right now.

I am guessing that if there was no physical contact, he would have been called up.

Truth is we cant afford to drop him but we will see what happens.

He looks very depressed, call a psychiatrist! He has blue eye as well, Strama apparently hit him hard.

He has seen 30,000 similar situations before now? Hmmm... he started youth coaching about 8 years ago, which would mean Strama has seen over 10 similar arguments every single day of his coaching life, including weekends and holidays.

Strama on a normal day --> :fffuuu:

Calm down son, let go of this rage. Have some cereal. :cereal:

Or maybe his wife beats him up 10 times a day for not doing enough :pazzini:?

How can Strama not give the fans the reason for leaving him out of the squad? This is fucking bullshit, you freeze out our best player and tell us maybe he can play in the EL? Wtf
